Can't extract it from the BRRES file using my tools... so I might give you the entire file.

So what in CTools do you want me to add? Luckily both sources are already in C# so all I have to do is change the code to work with Brawlbox.

Unfortunately, I don't know the source. There is a guy, called Chadderz, who is the master in MKW programming, he actually knows things that he keep secret. We think he might know all about Mario Kart, but for some reason he doesn't make his discoveries public. He programmed CTools, the tools that nowadays let us have Custom Tracks without "limitations" (space limitations btw).

If you could contact him, maybe you can co-work with him, so you don't have to do all the job.

The things I'd like to see are CHR0 animations, including bone editing. It is possible to edit MKW Brres files in BrawlBox, to make some bone change, But the problem is that we CAN'T SAVE THE FILE AGAIN.

I was actually wondering just why the heck it didn't happen yet.

I mean, it's been a HUGE while since we started using stuff from MKWii on Brawl, but I never ever saw stuff from Brawl being used on MKWii...

That's because of the incompatibility between Brawl and Mario Kart Wii tools.

I must tell, that we already know that. It's known that CHR0s are MDL0's animations, and SRT0s are MDL0's texture animations. The problem here is that currently we can't make *custom* animations, only use the Nintendo ones as base.

Hello. I come from Mario Kart Wii forums with two requests for all hackers in this site; since SSBB and MKW have so many similarities, me and the other MKW hackers want you to write some of the whole knowledge you have already, about MDL0, SRT0, CHR0, including bone editing and many more stuff that can help us to make more advanced hacks for Mario Kart Wii. My second request is to try to make BrawlBox compatible with CTools ( see http://wiki.tockdom.de/index.php?title=CTools_Pack for more info ). The point of this is to allow MKW BRRES files open in BrawlBox to SAVE when making some editions that at the moment are only possible with it (such as Bone editing and maybe BRSAR editing). For MKW is currently not possible to edit CHR0 animations, which I think involve bones, and many other things that will help us in the future.

So we can get set an agreement, who knows, maybe SSBB and MKW can be mutually hacked. And all the knowledge that SSBB already has can be really helpful for Mario Kart Wii.
