31  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / Re: Red93's Textures on: June 26, 2014, 11:12:28 AM
Oh hey. Red's not dead. Good to see you back, Red.

Yeah, the vault murdering picture size/quality/etc. is a thing now. Just gotta work around it, I guess.

Bugger....well...I did it for the sake of the skeletal shape and....ah crap. Than again, perhaps I was in the wrong for wanting to start up again. No wonder people don't download my hacks.

Anyway, I have my reasons, even if they are convoluted. That's what I was afraid of...heh, I just suck at taking criticism. May as well cancel this mod's release and move on the next project, whenever that might be.

All he said was that you like rigging over Wolf. That's not actually a reason to scrap a hack.

That's not even criticism. Seriously.

That's actually really cool, SJS. I love the corset, along with the second dress under the first one. Will that one be textured differently?

Everyone remember that Custom Robo trophy?

Yeah.

Bell:

Bit:

Dikey:

Permil:

The trophy itself is actually mostly colored using Materials instead of textures, so I've been reading the colors out of the materials directly and turning them directly into 8x8 textures.

Barring a few textures, these 4 are done. After that, there are 2 more, Lux and Pico. They aren't TPosed yet though.

There is always room for more Sonic characters.

Nice work, Elru.

Well, if you're trying to use textures IN Project M, they go in the projectm/pf/fighter/[yourcharacter] directory.

If you're trying to use Project M textures in a NON-Project M codeset, they go in private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/[yourcharacter]

Project M has its own directory, you see. ALSO, if the folders you are looking for don't exist, just make them yourself.

Well, uh.

The gray things are folders, and the blue things are files. Clicking on a folder will allow you to explore that folder. When you find the file you want, click on it. A dialog saying "Sorry, no preview is available" will appear along with a download button.

I eld use th ntsc but its down to anywhere i can get that

I don't think I can understand this. I'm guessing, though, that you're saying you can't find the NTSC link?

Well, like I said it's at the bottom of the resources page, but since you can't find it:

Also, PAL files work with NTSC Brawl. It's not like the two don't work with each other. All that's different are a few filenames, but those aren't even in the Fighter folder. Trust me, my personal offline repository was PAL until this year, and I have an NTSC Wii/GameDisc.

Pulling from the NTSC repository should work.

At the bottom of this page:
http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/Resources.php

Though, it seems that the PAL repository is down. The Google Drive NTSC repository works fine, though.

If you're looking for PAL, the easiest place to get it would be your own Brawl CD using either CleanRip to get an ISO or a USB Loader to get a WBFS. (You'd have to run the WBFS through Wii Game Manager to get an ISO, but that's not really hard to do at all. It's just a waiting game.)

Dozer has a weird shiny face thing going on. Everything is one material and one texture so what could be causing it?

Make sure to Ignore Original Colors when you import it in .71.

That might be it.
42  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: May 15, 2014, 09:54:03 PM
Not specifically. .71 Brawlbox's only importing problem is that its Shader0 is messed up.

Literally, the only thing you need to do to fix it is set Shader0's TextureRef0 to True. And then it works.

Yeah, Kaze. I know it didn't get as far last time, but I'd be up to help again too. Especially since I can actually do things now, haha.
44  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: May 13, 2014, 11:33:08 AM
Oh yeah. I remember that.

Wasn't I a part of that? That was a while ago.
45  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: Bump Maps: Possible? on: May 09, 2014, 05:15:00 PM
Well, Brawlbox CAN edit shaders. It's just that most of us don't exactly know what does what.

I'm absolutely positive that the effect can at least be replicated on a V9 MDL0.
