When I was doing those, I realized, the eyes I had before were too bright compared to how they actually looked ingame, so I've updated all the default and Melee Ganondorfs, to be a bit darker. Comparison:
The Dropbox folder has been updated with everything, sure is convenient!
Ganondorf and Wolf have both been revamped, meaning I can finally move on again! Did a little thing with the opening post as well, if anyone's noticed... And here they are:
I've finished the default Ikes, so feel free to request more! Post Merge: May 04, 2013, 04:25:40 PMIke has been revamped, and I got around to doing some model requests I wasn't able to do before! The image below will take you to the Dropbox album: Darkfire, I had an issue with Gilgamesh, he wouldn't load in BrawlBox for some reason. Something about an issue with 215 null weights, sorry about that!
And from now on, I'm going to drop Imgur support in favour of Dropbox, since it makes it way easier for me to update. However, if you used the Imgur links, let me know, and I'll continue those!
05/05 Edit: Been sick all weekend, so I've been doing more revamps. Going through revamping Ganondorf currently, but I had to fix something that's been bugging me with Ness first. A slight remake, so if you've downloaded the Ness CSPs earlier, I'd recommend redownloading them. Ness I've addressed the size of the CSP to not make his head look as big, and it shows more of his body as well. It was also slightly darker, so I've fixed that too. Sorry about an update so soon!
Dropping Photobucket for Dropbox because I just found out you could share albums (saw SJS doing it haha), and I've already got everything uploaded there anyway!
Well, in Photoshop, I find that a combination of layer masks and the color blending option work pretty well. There's probably a better option, but it's the one I like to use.
I think with Falco, by making his feathers that colour, it changes his character too much. Don't get me wrong, it looks nice, it just doesn't give a Falco vibe to me.
1. I'm using Marth's eyes as a reference here, but the eyes might look a bit better as a slightly darker colour.
2. Size wise, I think they just need to be a bit less wide.
3. Minor thing, but might help achieve a more "Brawl-style" look. Try flipping the side the light reflection is on, I noticed it was on the other side on the Brawl Marth model. A second, smaller reflection under the large one might be a good idea too.
All together, something like this. (The right eye, I got lazy and didn't edit the left)
And here are some (low quality) screens of her ingame model, they might help with positioning and size. Probably not, I tried!
