I was wondering if there was a way to make it so that battle portraits are not displayed during a match. I really just don't want to deal with adding them for each texture I add and it'd be a lot easier to just make it so they don't show at all.
I'd prefer if someone could explain how to do it myself rather than direct me to a pack because I'm already using kind of a convoluted custom set up. Thanks for any advice!
P.S. If someone could tell me how to do the same with the stock icons on the stage select screen that would also be awesome!
Besides running the tool, what files do you have to add to the CEP to get it to work? Everything I try results in a beep freeze as soon as I press start on the css.
So... has anyone gotten cBliss working with either of the Project M packs? I've heard of people doing it and even downloaded some packs that claimed to have it enabled but none worked.
First off it seems, like most of the codes you're using besides the stage expansion are pretty basic and could probably be found easily just by googling brawl codes or something like that, I'm sure you could find a forum post with most of them.
For the stage expansion, I would strongly suggest getting libertyernie's stage expansion pack (his topic is almost always near the top of the general hacking forum on this site) I remember having trouble with eternalyoshi's pack but this one has generally worked fine.
As for your music problem, are the stages just silent or do they play weird scrambled versions of other songs? Possibly the former and definitely the latter can be fixed by copying everything on your sd card, formatting the card and simply pasting everything back on. Idk why but custom music seems to get screwed up very easily if you frequently add or remove things from your sd card without formatting.
I'm not sure if that helps in your case, but regardless I would just recommend salvaging or re-finding any codes you want and getting ernie's sss pack. Then just whenever you want to make changes to your hacks make a copy on your computer, mess with them there, format your sd card and paste everything over at once and you shouldn't have problems. Hope this helps!
Has anyone gotten these three to work together and if so how?
I've got PM 3.02 with the CEP working fine, now I'm trying to add cBliss. I've replaced sc_selchar/char_bust_tex_lz77, sc_selmap/MiscData[40] and STGRESULT.PAC/MiscData[120] with ones from a cBliss ready PM pack and am using Mewtwo2000's cBliss tool but I'm still getting the beep. Should I use the above files from the original cBliss and just manually add the PM stuff? I would think that may interfere with PM's codes but maybe not as ong as they were still named properly, idk.
If anyone has figured this out please fill me in and if it's not possible please end my struggles. Thanks!
I just used gctedit to get the text code, searched for the first few characters' ids (Wario, Mario, Luigi, etc.) and just changed the order from there. I wouldn't go adding anything to the code, it's easy enough just to change the code that's present. Just remember the pokemon are now 2A, 2B and 2C, Roy is 2D and Mewtwo is 2E.
I've replaced Hanenbow with Wi-Fi Waiting Room, and it works fine, except there's no sandbag. Do I need a code for this to work? Post Merge: October 08, 2013, 10:37:43 PMAnyone maybe have the Waiting-Room-over-Hanenbow code from the BBrawl codeset?
Alm I love your Wuhu stage... except when I get flown off every damn time lol. I think you shoul consider making the planes go offscreen on the bottom instead, it seems like it would make them get in the way of the camera les and be easier to react to. But seriously, love the stage.
Frequently changing the files around on your SD card can wear it out after a while, you may just want to get a new one and copy your files over (worked for me)
I can't find it hosted anywhere (the link in the resources is invalid/deleted) Could someone please e-mail me a copy or link me to a working mirror or something? Plz&thx!
I think I asked something to this effect a ways back, but I want to rearrange the layout of the stages and have no idea how. I believe you told me before that it had something to do with the SSS's animations, but do you know of a decent guide on how to actually modify it?
I changed it before, but it was through changing the code itself and I can't find the list of stage IDs I used that time (and it was a pain in the ass) Nevermind, it was YOUR tutorial, and I found it again
