And the answer is that this method is obsolete. Brawl Box opens all .PAC and .BRRES files, and has since it came out.

But the name you give you fine Output, is the name of the Sticker/Trophy you were originally editing. 
EX: You started out with: 9001.brres. When you finished editing you got 0000.brres. Rename back to 9001.brres.

Although, the shell when Up-B looks fine, i think you should scrunch D-Bowser's body parts in there, or take some form regular Bowser and re-texture them. It's a Shadow over DK port. The Full Shadow moveset over DK so that you can haz Shadow vs Sonic. It's done by now i think, seeing as how that video was uploaded back in March. O_O

The jigglypuff is Wisp, a pretty old PSA moveset, made back when PSA first came out.

The Character Select hack i think is by SJS, with some modifications over Shadow-ness
Kid Goku over Luigi
GalaxiaKnight over MetaKnight
Cloud over Ike, and Sephiroth over Marth.
No new Characters, but Shadow vs Sonic is still pretty cool.
