For a Brawl Mod, I'm working on a 2D Stage based on The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and was inspired by Hylian Skies from Super Smash Flash 2. The Stage so far works quite good, but the problem I'm having is that the background (Which is the main map of Hyrule from Link to the Past) Keeps changing Colors as though I'm going to have a seizure. The background has the same Image configuration like the other 2D stages I've seen, and I have no idea what's causing the problem.
Wario use two different bonesets for his costumes: One for normal Wario, and another one for WarioWare Wario. Using a mod with the wrong boneset on a wrong skin, say, for example a mod based off of normal Wario being used over WarioWare Wario, will freeze the game. Try changing which skin your mod(s) are replacing!
Maybe that was the problem. I wanted the Overalls Wario to go over Warioware Wario, so I renamed FitWario06 to 00. Thanks for telling me that. Really appreciate the help with it.
Oh, and about Riivolution damaging the Wii/the Gamedisc, I heard about that as far back as September 2011, which was when I began going into Brawl Modding.
Textures shouldn't change that; are you using Gecko or Riivolution? Because there's a bug with Gecko, where it will occasionally "brick" the Wii for literally no reason; when I switched to Riivolution, the bug is no longer there.(That's why I switched) *Assuming that this is the problem; if not, please say so *
Yes, I'm using Gecko OS to load up my Brawl Mods, and didn't know that was the problem. I don't have Riivolution installed cause I don't wanna risk damaging my Wii or the game's disc.
I'm working on a Brawl mod and making my own custom character texture mods, and before and after I added in mods of him, the mod kept freezing on me with Wario. the first time was with a Mod that was on the Brawl Vault. I was testing out a match on the Warioware stage and in the middle, the Wii froze on me.
The 2nd time was with the mod of Wario i made myself. I paused the game to get a good look of the mods I've done, and when I wanted to go back to the CSS, it froze on me. Either this was because of Wario, or because I pressed L-R-Start by accident instead of L-R-A-Start (yes, I'm using a Gamecube Controller)
Is there anyway to remove stages from the SSS as well as rearranging them? I want to get rid of some stages (Hanenbow for example) for a brawl mod I'm working on and place some retro stages from previous Smash Bros games on the 2nd Page.
I'm trying to use Brawl EX for the first time for a hack I'm working on, and I tried to make a clone of Mario and followed all the instructions in this video:
I placed all that I needed into the SD Card, and I launched it via the Stage Builder launcher, and upon selecting the clone for Mario (who I'm working on as a test), the game freeezes.
I don't know what to do here, so if anyone can help me out with this, I'd appreciate it, since this is the first time I'm using Brawl EX
I decided to work on a personal brawl hack based on Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS and I wanted to make my own Announcer calls.
Keep in mind, I'm not using Riivolution. I'm using a gecko code that allows custom SFX in the game (which could be the same code used in Project M.)
Some of the announcer calls I've recorded and edited came out fine, (Free for All, Survival, Game) but the rest of the calls come out all glitched up. I have no idea what's causing the problem. This is the first time I've done this, so my safest bet is that it's somthing to do with either the length or the file size.
What would happen if i didn't unlock everything in Brawl and decided to use hacks?
I ask this because I transfered my original Brawl Data to the Wii U, and I just need to be sure in case somthing goes wrong, and also cause I'm going back into Brawl Hacks.
So this won't involve moveset hacks then? Since you can only have one of those each on a character.
the only Moveset Modified is Mario. he has the own and B Move He Had in N64 and Melee. i was never a fan of the F.L.U.D.D. move he has in Brawl
Time For a Little Update. I've Renamed Event Mode To Mission Mode. i honestly think thats more appropriate. and Gannon's Castle from Ocarina of Time has been added.
There's one teeny tiny problem with this so far....
You can't add characters at all. Only replace them and even then there are numerous restrictions. There was stuff about the Clone Engine, but it really fizzled out and hasn't been worked on much at all lately.
Shame too, the roster and stage range is pretty cool.
i know you can't add characters. i'm replacing some of the costumes in the game i replaced 2 of Pit's Costumes With Sora & Roxas.
