...Sooo... Whats the most I can get away with? I recall having to index my InFace when I used cupash ..to 16 or something.. Made everything look like crap.

Yeah, but those are MIP Levels, what you want to do is go into whatever image-editing program you used and reduce the number of colors by changing the file to Indexed Color mode or a similar mode and make the colors around the same number of colors as their originals (which you can find by opening up the original file and finding out how many colors the image has exactly).
So wait... I thought BrawlBox does that to it automatically too?
Is there a setting on BrawlBox that lets me choose the quality of CSP's, SS icons and inFace portraits? My InFace icons must be using up alot, since they've been looking pretty damn good.
Here's a few KB size from a my pac that I exported (edited ones)
- Stage Select Portrait 29.2 KB , 25.6 KB - Stage Select Icon 3.97 KB, 3.47 KB - CSP's 16.9 KB, 13.1 KB - InFace 4.28kb , 2.85kb (I actually disable'd my info/portaits folder and tested the game again.. Still freezing as soon as I press start.
I'll switch back over to my last working pac if I cant find the problem. Swapped out all the recent SSP' and SS icons too, still freezing
Just thought I'd give back to the community by sharing the CSP's I've made on my spare time... Making these are the closest I'll get to "hacking" brawl. I'll leave the Texture/Vertex hacking to the pros.
Don't really take requests.. I just make what ever I have on my roster. So over time, I should have a decent amount of stuff. I try my best and take my time making these. Let me know what ya think

ok, I began working on the stage and it is coming along pretty good. I have the basic model placement and I am working on very rough textures to base better ones off of. The stage is the motel, you fight on the pavement, on the balcony, and on the roof. The pavement is solid, half of the balcony is solid, other half fall through, and the entire roof is fall through. the stairs are a solid ramp that juts up at an angle, leveling off with the balcony, and continuing to the edge. The sides of the motel are drop offs, so you can cling onto it. The pavement will also have ledges, and pits on either side, so it is not a walk off stage. progress pics maybe tomorrow....
Great to hear its all coming together I was actually hoping it would just be a walk off stage with no obstacles/upper levels. just the Hotel in background. the fact the stage would be nmh themed is enough for me

heh, once you get done with this, Someone should get to work on creating a NMH stage? Like the parking lot of the No More Heroes motel? Should be a flat plane type of stage (like mario kart stage)
