I dont plan on doing this kind of stuff my self, (hoping some of the people here that makes epic textures could include a portait of em w/ it)

Just wondering why only a handful of people only take the time to do this? Is it a complicated process to create a custom portrait for the Character select screen? Cause its a shame to see alot of my faves. not having one.
