I scour very nearly EVERY texture hacking website daily, saving whats good and ignoring what isnt. I've only ever seen OizenX posting stuff like this. It's his trademark, and he does it beautifully.

There is always a risk of bricking, but if you know what your doing and/or follow the guide perfectly, you shouldn't have any issues. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. If something does happen you can't hold any one responsible.
The Twilight Hack/installation of the Homebrew Channel can't brick you. I don't see how the BannerBomb can do the same thing since it's like the Twilight Hack.
