Perhaps in the area where Link, Profile, RSS Feed and so on, maybe a stamp or designation letting everyone know that the accompanying hack is fully compatible with Project M?
Or hell, to make it even more efficient, a stamp letting us know what "version" of Brawl it was created on and all the different versions the hack should be compatible with?
Hey guys I had an idea that you can take or run with....I was thinking that the fact you guys took Wario to his Wario Land moveset is PERFECT, I don't get why Sakurai opted for those weird Wario Ware movements...anyways.....
For his Down-Special, it would be pretty dope if the fart was replaced with like a rising uppercut or headbutt that works in the exact same fashion. On the ground, Wario could emit like a force or shockwave that will hit people near him like he's gathering up strength for the uppercut/headbutt, this could act like the explosion the fart would have made, and of course when he actually does the uppercut/headbutt, the animation would be just that and anyone hit by it would suffer the same effect that the fart did originally. While falling he can be in helpless state. This is just a small idea in order to make good ol' Wario more WarioLand-esque...I understand he doesn't have this move in the actual series but I feel that it fits his brute strength type nature. What do you guys, or anyone else think>
For some reason my Riivo setup (courtesy of BeyondYou) isn't working anymore, when I load up Riivolution and get ready to launch Brawl, the game doesn't load...I don't know why this could have happened because I didn't mess with any settings on it, the only think I can think of is recently I modded my wii to be able to use configurable usb loader and have been playing other games using it. My wii is hard and softmodded and has been for like 3-4 years so I know its not that either. Can anyone give me their Riivolution setup and file placements so I can slide my personal "private/wii" type files in them?
I placed all the files where they need to go and added the codes to my RSBE01.gct...the game loads up fine with a slightly longer load (I guess due to loading up all the new stuff)..when I get to the stage select screen it works fine, I can see all the icons and its definately changed, but when I actually pick a stage it says "Ready To Fight" but just sits there....its not a hard freeze because I can actually hit the reset button on the Wii and it goes back to the channel menu, but then also I don't hear the Wii working when it "freezes" like that. Maybe I did something wrong...is there a tutorial for this? Looking back at the post for it, there really isn't a clear explanation on getting everything in order, just "copy and replace whatever"
I placed both files that come in the download exactly where they belong (im using Riivolution by the way) but every time I select the Pictochat stage, it freezes the game. Has anyone else experienced this, or is this an outdated version of the hack? I got it from the BV as recent as a few days ago
I went through the info_en.pac and changed the name I wanted but it still says the name of the character. The info_en.pac is in the info2 folder. Im wondering if I did this right or is there more to it?
Found all of Roy's sounds from Melee. Gonna post them here for our fellow SFX hackers. Has all his announcer, in-battle and even sfx like his sword swipes and everything in great quality. These are NOT converted for Brawl use yet as they are straight rips, so you're gonna have to do your thing to em to get them into Sawndz to be put into Brawl. Behold...

My CSPs..updating often..I had to split them up into two posts because I ran out of space on the other...this one ends at Link.....see the other post beginning with Lucario and ending with Toon Link. Vertex edited models will have a different pose

I did some CSPs and battle portraits, added them with brawlbox like I normally do, but anytime I load the game up and select Brawl or Training, I get the Beep Of Death. I thought it might've been a corrupt common5.pac so I deleted it and loaded a fresh one with the new CSPs/battle portraits and still the same thing....so im thinking maybe I have too many or it might be a problem with one of my battle portraits or something?
EDIT: I looked around and seen the post with the info saying any more than 135 portraits may lead to freezing, and/or biggest problems occur with PKMN Trainer and his pokemon, Sheik, Zelda, and Zero Suit. I've had textures on all of these characters and it worked fine...so im thinking that I might be "exceeding" the limit. Is there a way around this? or do I have to delete some CSPs and battle portraits?
It normally works fine recently its been acting up...now, when I drag my .PCS file into it..it convertes it and its the correct size that a .PAC should be for that particular character, but when I try to change the file extension type to .PAC from .PCS.OUT, it doesn't change it at all...it stays an .OUT file and the .PAC I typed in just becomes a part of the file name...ie :"MasklessMetaKnight.pac" although once you type in .PAC it should disappear and turn the file extension type to .PAC, it doesn't...it stays a stupid .OUT file. Something wrong with my lz77ex? I tried this with 3 different ones on my PC and still the same thing...
Im asking because I notice with Wii Pic Converter, even with the smoothness turned on it doesn't have that refined "straight-from-the-developer" look like the actual Brawl website does..I've seen some snapshots from other fellow hackers and although I wish I had some on-hand examples, to sum it up theirs look really really good and in HD.....is there a better program to run the snapshots thru or has Wii Pic Converter updated without me knowing?
Say I wanted a Super Sonic motion/effect file...no PSA, just him with his quills up, arms in the stance, and all the stars and sugary sparkle effects around him...for a certain texture number. Instead of adding the "super sonic" effect to all the textures I have allocated to him like normal. To summarize, is it possible to internalize a motion/effect .pac file (or whatever being used) to a single texture number? An example of what im asking is model hacking...you can take the Shadow quills up hack and internalize it for that specific "texture" or file or what have you...but still be able to pick regular blue Sonic w/out the Shadow effect...is this possible? Yet?
I hadnt been on here in a while so im sure its been done and passed around and such..in just looking for a regular Shadow texture, perhaps by marvin or someone, that has his quills or spines up like the real Shadow built into the texture file..no PSA or custom moves...just...regular Shadow, spines up..thanks
