I just imported a model into brawlbox after rigging it, & I got this:
Everything seems to be in order, but the only thing I can tell is wrong, is that when I imported it, It asked me if I wanted to search for a file, I got the gist of what it said, & I didn't read it. Something about the file "wii". Is that the problem, if so, I imported it again onto a blank slate, & nothing popped up.
OK, I have my old activation code, serial #, & ect... for 3DS max 2010, but the Autodesk website does not have that installer anymore, so my question is: do any of you know an external place where I can download it (I'm trying to Google it, nothing special), or maybe one of you guys can upload your installer? If these codes work... Will they? I guess that's another important question. I would need a 32 bit installer. Because I REALLY hate relying on other people to get stuff done for me, & so far, my success rate for requests being made is 0%. I ask this, because my computer I used to mod is probably in a million pieces, & in the atmosphere.
I'm playing project M with characters like zero over peach, & X over fox, but twice it froze, one when zero was dark peach or whatevers, and anther time is when X got grabbed by roy, and it froze. So what i've deciphered is that the added stuff to project M is freezing the game. my question is: how do i remove that stuff?
I would like to edit my gecko codes, but i have no way of doing so, because the link in the resources page is broken, and i can't find any online. would someone help me?
i tried to take pics of a hack i did on R.O.B., but when i selected a stage, it did the famous BBRRRRRR. so i tried the same stage with a different character, and it worked fine. i am using 3DS Max 2013, and i think i have some possibilities of what went wrong. 1. I was using 3DS max 2013 2. I rotated R.O.B.'s left arm in blender (which i've never done, i've always mirrored his LShoulderN) was i supposed to mirror his arm bones on 3DS max, instead of his arm objects, or does 3DS max 2013 hate brawl? i can't use 2010, because its not on the site anymore. i can't use 2011 because it gets an error about part 2, or whatever. i can't use 2014, because i only have a 32 bit computer, and they only have 2014 in 64 bits. and i forgot why i can't use 2012. going through my history, its probably because i thought i had 2012 the entire time. this is the first time that this has ever happened to me, because up until this point, i was using 2011, or 2010!
i'm wondering if you can set the default rules (like stage selection type, damage ratio, team attack) can be set differently using a PAC file. and if so, which one?
i more or less recently downloaded cbliss. but it keeps freezing when i select brawl on the menu. the pac/pcs are different filesizes for every character, the sc_seleccharacter.pac is smaller than the original. everything in the Cbliss download folder is in the exact spot on the SD card, i have all 10 colors for each character. what am i doing wrong?
so, i'm trying to make a vertex mod, its mostly done, but there is 1 thing. unwanted shadows:
as you can see, the shadows behind the breasts are still visible when they are shrunk. yes, i've edited the texture, but i need to remove those shadows and i was told that UV editing is the way to do it. the the question is... how?
ok, i tried googleing it, but the only thing i found was something about using homebrew and an SD card. i want to know if there is another way, without breaking or damaging my game in any way possible.
so, you want to make CSPs, but they don't come out good enough, well, this is a guide to make your CSPs look better, with an easy way to do it 1. open up brawlbox & select the PAC/PCS file you want
2.right click & select preview
3.click the bones button to hide teh bones
4.adjust teh lighting
5.load an animation file (u can download the under teh resources section)
6.select the pose you want, & adjust teh camera
7.print screen it, & paste it into any picture editing program
8.cut out a 128 X 160 portrait
9. load it into a program like gimp, & select the add alpha file channel and select everything that isn't the portrait with teh magic wand
now, it still looks like crap, so, lets fix teh color!
10.adjust teh brightness/contrast until you get something you like
11.export it &, upload it 2 teh vault!
now just use this with every other CSP tutorial on teh vault, & they will B perfect!
