Go into char_bust_tex and find the MiscData that corresponds to the character you're having a problem with (e.g. MiscData36 for Jiggs).
Export the untouched file.
Open up your problem common5 and Replace the problem character's MiscData with the one you exported. This will kill all your CSPs for the charactyer, but you won't have freezes. Now that the game runs fine, add CSPs one by one to find out which one is causing the problem.
Forgive me if this is very obvious/explained somewhere (if so, link me and I'll read up)...
I'd like to replace a few stages in the stage pack. For example, I want to put in Hyrule 64. The description says it doesn't need a .rel, but it says that on Fourside too (and Fourside has a .rel in the stage pack).
In short, I'm wondering if I can simply set Hyrule 64 as STGCUSTOMX and replace a stage (X)? If so, do I need to remove that stage's .rel?
^ Same problem I'm having with Jigglypuff. Hotdogturtle advised me that it was probably that I exceeded the file size limit, so I'm trying to get that down/find another way to fix the problem.
I love that you want more requests when there are already so many ideas being put up in here. It shows that you are considering many different projects before choosing one.
Can't wait for Melee Fox, Falco, Marth, and Falcon. That Falcon vertex seems slightly better than the original scarfless (some scarf remnant is left on the one I use...).
