Another update for CSS Expansion stuff; Same process as before, just replace the sora_menu_sel_char or miscData[13] in common3 with this and you will be able to use homerun contest and multiman brawl with CSS Expansion in Wiimmfii

Hey guys!  Well it's been a hell over a road trip with brawl but pretty soon I will be going to smash 4 modding.  Don't worry I'm not going to quit cold turkey (for those who care lol) I will probably update a few old mods like Mega Man X,  Scorpion,  Espio, and or just mess with some coding to see if I can tweak things like sfx or articles.  I really appreciate all of you who support my mods.  (Smash and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2)  I will continue to make great content for you guys because I enjoy making you guys happy lol.  Also this helps me be a better animator,  programmer, and just a modder in general

Any chance for you to use the Soundbank Expansion?
So you don't have to replace an already existing character sounds?

The update to my overhaul of BaganSmashBros' Classic Ridley will be the start of my PSAs using both Effect.pac and Soundbank Expansion from this point on. The Alloys won't be using a Soundbank Expansion though, since they're using SFX from existing Fighters.

That's good to read.
And yeah, Alloys don't really need another soundbank as they're clones of actual fighters.
I also hope your best PSA's also get updated with those two expansions.

True... but no one else can make .rel files for the rest of the characters, or did they just stop modding brawl
With Smash 4, most people left Brawl.
There are still some Brawl hackers though.

Hey I'm trying to make a personal build from scratch and I'm not sure how I would go about making a gameconfig.txt file. I have my GCT set up and everything but just not the gameconfig.txt file. can anyone help me out?

Create a gameconfig.txt file and copy this:

RSBE01:
codeliststart = 80570000
codelistend = 80580000
poke(800042B8, 60000000)
poke(803E9930, 60000000)

Save it and add it to your SD card.

This tutorial is not outdated in the slightest. The information this tutorial provides is still relevant, as there hasn't been any further documentation on this sort of SFX editing via PSA editing.

If neither BrawlBox nor Tabuu work for you, then you're forced to manually hex edit.

If you can't get anything to work, it's likely not the fault of the tutorial, but rather yourself.

Though not to mention, Smash Boy already figured out their issue over Discord.

Well, I never said it was the tutorial's fault. But it is also definatelly not the user's fault neither.
Good he was able to solve his issue.
But to be honest, there should be a Hex tutorial for this or at least an update to PSA so these SFX IDs can be modified too.
IDK if there is already an update to it since it's been quite a while since I stopped modding Brawl.
