Seems a bit too pale and too close to pink instead of orange.

I'd give it a bit more saturation, a bit darker, and shift it a bit closer to orange, and it'll be good.

I'll make some CSPs and release my version of Mars Falco soon.

Here's a few small changes to the Mars Falco I posted a while back.



Made his feathers a very desaturated and pale blue, darkened the jacket a little bit, fixed his boots, and changed his shirt a little bit. I noticed that the strappings on his jacket got really bright when I brightened and sharpened the image, in Brawlbox and in-game it's almost the same exact color as his boots.

What do you guys think?

Zelda needs more red. Dress can be two different shades of red, or red and brown.

Everything else looks fine, though.

You can just download SJS's common5 in his CSP package, extract the sc_selcharacter.pac and replace the default Project M one with it in Brawlbox. Only thing is I don't know if he's updated it since November, which would mean you would have to individually redo CSPs for Marth, Ike, Dedede, Ivysaur, Luigi, and anyone else that I haven't mentioned that SJS updated.

Well until he knows he's leaving for sure, just keep it as is. And if he does leave, then we'll probably just have to redo the thread, or remake it on Smashboards once the Mars bunch is complete.

Maritime Samus and ZSS previews seem to be deleted?
I mentioned this a few days ago, it'll be fixed whenever Devicer comes back.

Just made a small tweak to Mars Bowser. Wanted to darken him up a bit so he more accurately portrays his CSPs.

You can take one of my new previews (preferably the middle one) for the Mars collection in the OP.

Just popping in quickly to say that the previews for Maritime Samus and ZSS are broken, so if Devicer ever sees this, he can make a quick update to his post.

Also Shun, a lot of my Mars CSP's and BP's are missing from your post. I don't remember if I posted them to Imgur or Photobucket and them pasted those links on here or Smash Mods, though, but if they aren't, I always include them in my downloads.

I use Paint.Net, the magic wand is my best friend. Highlight a section of the image, separate it onto a new file the same size as the texture, and save a copy of it if I ever make a mistake, or want to do a whole different recolor. Then I just shift hue, saturation, blah blah blah. Then take the piece and paste it back onto the original. Rinse and repeat until the whole thing is done. Same goes for CSP's, seperate them into different parts, save them as templates, and recolor as close I can to my texture.
