that does look awesome, it's great to see old-school texture modders, your work reminds me a lot of the already dead dasdonkey team, 'twas a great one at texturing, i really don't know how i got in for a while xDD
Thank you, Jokekid. =) Yeah, they were an outstanding team. It's a shame they're dead.
That's supposed to be a mask, right? You should disable his lower jaw bone so that he doesn't move his mouth when he speaks.
It looks cool though! Nice work!
Thanks Spex. x) Yes, a mask indeed, and that's a great idea as well. I'd do it, but I actually don't know how. I get the feeling it's really simple though.
No. Actually I can screenshot it. The CSP will probably be along the lines of this.
Of course, that's straight out of BrawlBox and I haven't finalized it yet, so I might tweak it a bit before I take it into CSP production in Photoshop. Especially the eyes. It's the part I'm most indecisive about with this one. If I'm really not satisfied with it, I may end up throwing that completely out the window and going with something else altogether, as I have done before.. haha
This is a preview for my latest hack so, of course, it's not released yet, but I'll probably get around to uploading it sometime during the week. I've actually been in the process of creating a new website that I intend to be better than the previous one I had. I still have a bit more coding and such to do on it and have to fix/setup some things, so it might be a little while. I'm hoping for it to be done usable sometime in August though. Anyway, I mention that to basically say why things have been a bit slow with me lately and may continue to be for a bit. I was kinda needing a break from it, so I decided to develop a new texture.
Fair enough; that works. Guess that's a way around it. Just to mention, there's already a rule that says not to bump threads when it's unnecessary. So that kinda already eliminates that problem, I would think. =P
Maybe I'm special. ^_^ The first two actually show up as 404 when you go to them, but in the vault, they show up. Idk man... lol Nevertheless, the third image definitely works, so that's enough to be a valid submission.
Is there a way to make it so that when posts are merged, the thread's "last post" time also updates? For example, the way it is currently, if I made a post yesterday, then today I make a new post on that same thread with new content that is completely unrelated to my previous post, the forum will merge today's post with yesterday's post and still say on the forums that the last post on that thread is from yesterday—not today. The only way someone would know something got updated would be if they coincidentally revisited the thread for whatever reason and just so happen to see it.
Or, perhaps is there a way to simply make a specific post not merge with the previous one?
I don't know if the people you're referring to are going to be the same people that are into the community's forums enough stumble upon this thread... The type of people you're describing probably just see a hack in the vault, click on the profile of the designer, and go from there with a message. But maybe not, idk.
Haha, what can I say? I guess I miss it. Thanks. =) Post Merge: July 14, 2014, 07:56:43 PMJust finished the CSP for my last texture. It's not included in the download, so I'll add it in the Brawl Vault submission thing with it.
