And don't forget to give it a thumbs up, a sub, a comment, a kiss, a scratch on the back, a meal to eat, and a new pair of shoes. Ah, I should make Youtube videos.
Nah but seriously, I haven't really been using this thread much until recently, so the lack of attention it has gotten up until now is probably my fault. xD
What is up, peeps and creeps? As you probably know, I haven't been able to make any new stuff lately, but I don't want to go a long time without any kind of updates of any sort from me, sooo here we go!
The Open Seas is a background swap I did from the Pirate Ship. Credit to Kiriso for the background who truly did an amazing job on it. The background really does look beautiful, so props huge to him.
I actually made this stage kind of a long time ago but never completed it. In fact, you may even notice it from a few of the cameo appearances I've given it from some of my character texture pictures, such as these:
This post is to give you guys a preview of what to possibly expect from me in the future, but the main reason for this is because I'm looking for a collaborator for this stage, so if you're interested in doing this, you know the drill. ;)
Here's some info about the stage in its current state:
Background changes (as seen in the pictures)
Water is animated
No stage effects to the players (and I'd like to keep it this way)
Water is not swimmable
As far as the collaborating goes, I'd like to possibly get some other elements in the background, maybe we can make a swimmable water version too. Heck, even a new stage texture might even be welcome. The stage just seems a little incomplete to me, so I'd like to get someone/people that might be wanting to help out with that. Also, if I don't pick you, please do not be offended. D: I may just think that someone's style would go better for this.
If I don't get anyone for this, I'll probably just release it "as is" as a beta version, or not at all. Not sure. So, yeah. That's what we're looking at so far! Feel free to tell me what'cha think and ask questions.
Unfortunately, Brawl doesn't automatically detect the colors. If you want the custom textures/characters' colors to be consistent with the team colors, you would have to manually put the character over the color/texture slot you want.
Well yeah, of course. But something has to tell it to select one slot over another.
If you were asking if it is possible to change the slots it chooses for each color; its probably possible via codes, although there are no codes I know of that can do this.
Alright, so that puts us back where we started, which is basically the same exact thing I said before. xD
Glad you think so! Thanks. =D And yeah, half way over already. D: Doesn't seem like it's even been that long, but hey, you'll hear no complaints from me. xD
Also, this was was the last bit of my uncompleted textures, which I finished up today. When I get back to making my textures again, I'll make the rest of the crew to go with this texture (I'll release this one then too.)
One of my more detailed textures as far as the materials go, I think. I'm still a bit unsure how I'm going to release them (a pack: all at the same time, one at a time then make a pack afterwards, etc.).
