No one said the hack sucked. Nor that the rigging blew balls.
I've worked DMO models myself, Most of them not having verts in proper places, causing clipping. Didn't discourage me one bit. It only made me more tenacious.
I was just giving you a tip for if you rig another DMO model. That's all, no more, no less.
This is also WAY off topic. this is a WIP thread, not a thread to flame yourself.
Vertex welding made it worse, just needs to be blended/weighted better.
For future reference, all DMO models clip off at some parts of the body; creating a rig problem-o if you aren't aware.
What I always do is use Vertex weld with 0.001 setting so it binds up all loose vertices that are close to eachother, without dragging in others. It's best to use it before you rig.
I don't know crap about Digimon (was Team Pokemon as a kid) but that stage looks legit.
xD Thankie regardless!
It'll have lightning that randomly strikes in the background since I know how all the animations work now. Was planning to have the platforms move in the same fashion as on DRA2 but... I 'm still figuring out how I'm gonna work that.
For every comment that includes "*Generic ignored *Hack type here* remark*" A present explodes somewhere.
Like the Hammer Mario. Gives me dem nostalgia chills.
As for WIPs...
Uhm... This stage; from Digimon Rumble Arena 2. I custom made everything that's in it pretty much. Though I'm still trying to understand the lighting and stuff.
Don't know when or if I'll release it since I'm such a derp with stage related things though.
Sorry guys I've been MIA for awhile but I finally got my Brawlbox working again so it's back to work on Wargreymon. Here's a Brawlbox preview of the Down Special: Grey Shield:
it's only a snapshot of the animation because I hate making GIFs. Anway I'm using SDoom's suggestion to use bone collisions to provide "frontal invincibility" so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out I'll update this post with some screenshots and info on that tomorrow. -Omni
Ah, hah. Glad to see his rig is still holding up nicely.
