Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Music & SFX / Sawndz Clicking Sound

As soon as I replaced sfx there is this weird clicking noise that happens almost all the time.
Is there a way fix this?
Is it because its not optimized correctly, are the wav files to high? Please I need to know cause this is really annoying.

Like when i try to replace all sounds for Lucario it goes over a megabite. Does anyone know how to keep sawndz files under GB while changing voices?

Is it possible to change the hitbox sfx on .Pac files? Like from the slaping sfx to the punching one?
Or adding unused sound clips from Brawl? Also i'm trying replace a certain sfx on a sawnd file for Link but i keep getting "ERROR: Size of sawnd.spd file is too small. Try using a bigger sound file." I don't know what to do, i'm stuck :/

It seems that Smash Attacks is to dumb enough to not open Dedede's.pac file, while everyone else's can. Do I need to download the newest version or what?

I didn't think anything like this would happen, especially Project M. Every time I change Mario's color palettes, my game unexpectedly freezes. I'm using KTH Melee Mario, and I'm not sure why this happens with Mario but nobody else I need some help.
