Welp! She's finally here...better late than never right? My first rig...(Haven't tested her in-game yet)
Just a few issues here, I'm gonna need some help with her eyes. (I'll take the problem to the help thread)
Has a custom sword grip, and I can't seem to move certain vertices of her thumb or else it will shoot off somewhere when it's barley touched. I need to move them so she could grip the sword better. I have to find a way... (She has a lot of bone edits, will be used with her moveset)
ALSO! Her gun has a gorgeous shine!
I could do better with her wrists...her fingers...but only if they hadn't lack the needed number of vertices. This is actually more low poly than her younger version too. I'm thinking about rigging her hair to the cape bones in the future. Would anyone agree?
I'll tell you the way I do those kind of animations. May not be the best way, but it works for me. You must imagine your animation's movement like a sine wave. This animation has an average point where she floats, and you should make that point your first and last frame, so it will help making the interpolation smoother. For example, let's say this animation has 60 frames, and her average Y position is 5. You must make her translate the same amount in +Y and in -Y in the same amount of time, considering the loop. So you would have to make this: Frame 01: Y = 5 Frame 15: Y = 8 (=5+3) Frame 45: Y = 2 (=5-3) Frame 60: Y = 5
This works with several bones, translations and rotations. You should never start in one of the extremes (Y=8 or Y=2), or this kind of stuff may happen. And, obviously, this depends on what you want to do. Not sure if I explained well this.
Hmm...I'll try to keep this in mind, and I'll post an update if I have succeeded.
Thought I'd post this here, doesn't need much love though. I gave what Raiden needs/deserves the most.
Just to let people know that this is my sheathe texture
It says "MAVERICK"
I also mirrored his face, hair, and the band covering his eye because, the one that was imported by "KingSkull95" is not how it originally supposed to be. This will also come with better recolors I made myself...unlike the ones I saw that's already on the vault...(looks too cheap and no taste) It'll be based off of the DLC texture patterns...plus, it comes with the visor activated and/or deactivated.
Could download Dolphin, and either rip the iso from your disk or download the iso, you own the actual game so it's not illegal. The problem is that it's pretty much impossible to find the iso without using torrents. Just wanted to point out that's an option, it's not a bad option, but one that I understand if you don't want to do that.
Eh, I'm not a Dolphin emulator person. I use Dolphin for experiments and such.
Oh man! I wish I could enjoy this stage once it's released. But I won't be able to play smash bros because I have to clean my Wii lens in order for it to read. I'll have to wait for my cleaning kit to arrive at my door sometime next month or a little longer.
The boxing ring is looking kinda gorgeous right now.
Grab, Grab attack, Back and Down Throw are finished:
Down Throw's animations needs some polishing before it will be shown as a gif animation. Grab attack is supposed to deal 3%, but i forgot to change value. Also, all recolors' and default color's textures are improved thanks to SchAlternate from Smashboards:
I use Cyberlink's ISO Viewer. It's free, and easy to use.(It's what I used to extract an iso of Septerra Core, since we legally have the game and lost the CD)
Is that ISO viewer somehow called "Power2Go Essential"? Because I'm looking at it right now and I might be looking at the wrong thing...
What the title says. Something that can extract/replace multiple files at one time? I can't stand Wiiscrubber anymore...It's too time consuming. If there is a program other than Wiiscrubber...
Oh~~ In that case yes. I only used it once so I'm not sure how the xml file looks now, but it should load them all. If not check the paths in the xml file.
I always triple check the file paths I'm working with. Well, thanks for the info. May still have problems in the future but, I won't bring them back here on the forum.
That, but if you're asking how the program loads the file in a technical since. Riivolution acts as the disk reader and just like Gecko, but the difference is that Riivo doesn't load just codes. It uses the xml file to know what files to replace instead of loading everything on the SD. That being said there is no need for memory alteration. You COULD customize the xml to have more load options, but that isn't really worth it.
I already know how Riivolution works, I just want to know if it can load all types of files that's in the Brawl ISO. Post Merge: September 10, 2014, 03:30:01 PM
I am not entirely sure what you mean, but... The Riivolution .xml you have, figure out what directory it's set to(i.e. ssbb) for the main directory, and just change that all the times it's listed to your desired location for the main directory, and you can just put the Brawl files in that directory. Here is an example: I have my main folder for Brawl hacks as SD Root->ssbb->projectm. The .xml has that directory, but with slashes, instead of arrows, in that .xml. All Super Smash Bros. Brawl mods go into that main directory, but under subdirectories, as always, like "fighter"->"mario"->"FitMario00.pac", for example.
I hope this answer helps!
Well, here's what I mean. I'm using the "Riivolution for gecko users" method so that means I'm using the private folder for mods. I'm trying all kinds of files to fix my issues. .BIN files, .MSBIN files, and even .DAT files. I put their correct path into the .xml and I'm not even sure if those files are detected.
Basically my question would have been "Can the SSBB .xml load all files on the brawl disc?"
