1  Help & Tutorials / General Tutorials / [Tutorial] How to Go Online After Nintendo WFC Shutdown on: June 09, 2014, 04:42:30 PM
Due to the Nintendo WFC Shutdown, we are no longer able to battle friends online, access leaderboards and rankings, etc.
However, thanks to MrBean35000vr, Wiimm, and Leseratte, we can now do those things once again, with the Wiimmfi Patcher. The Wiimmfi Patcher enables online functionality by modifying the server address so that it connects to the Wiimmfi servers.

Instructions

Step 1: Click here and download the Wiimmfi Patcher.

(In case you already have a program that can unarchive files, skip Steps 2 & 3)

Step 2: Download B1 Free Archiver or Winrar.

Step 3: Open the archive with one of the programs listed in Step 2.

Step 4: Read the README file that comes with the archive.

Alternate Instructions
(For Those Who Don't Want to Use the Homebrew Channel)

Step 1: Turn on your Wii.

Step 2: Go to the Wii Options Menu>Wii Settings>Internet>Connection Settings>Connection 1, 2, or 3>Change Settings

Step 3: Scroll to the left until you see "Auto-Obtain DNS," click on No, and click the Advanced Settings box.

Step 4: Click on Primary DNS (not Secondary) and type the following into the box and click OK when you're done:

176.9.146.163

Step 5: Test any game that has online functionality and... You're done!

Error Codes

You may receive an error code while connecting, but don't fret. Here are the list of error codes and what they mean:

23901 : Server closed because of maintenance
23902 : Too many users, try later

23911 : Profile is temporary banned
23912 : Profile is banned
23913 : Console is temporary banned

2  Help & Tutorials / General Tutorials / [Tutorial] Making a Signature on: May 04, 2014, 07:39:47 PM
HOW TO ADD/MODIFY A SIGNATURE

Today, I will show you how to make your own custom signature.

NOTE: TOTAL SIZE OF SIGNATURES CAN ONLY BE 250 PIXELS LONG AND 695 PIXELS WIDE (Including text and images)

Go to this link: http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/Sig.php
From there, you can choose from any of the signatures you want. You can even preview your signature if you'd like by clicking "Generate Image." Once you have decided on what your signature should look like, there will be 2 tabs with links in them. Copy [Ctrl+C] the BOTTOM link, the top one DOESN'T work. Once you have copied it, click on your Profile; go under the Modify Profile Tab, click on Forum Profile Information; scroll down until you see a section labeled "Signature." Paste [Ctrl+V] the link into the box next to it, then click "Change profile." That's all to it.

OPTIONAL

You can also add an image to your signature by going to an Image Hosting website, such as, ImageShack, Imgur, etc.
Upload your image using any of the following Image Hosting sites (I use Imgur, so we'll just stick to that). Copy and Paste this into the Signature box:
Code:
[img][/img]
Then, upload your image using any Image Hosting website (I use Imgur, so we'll just stick to that). Once your image has been successfully uploaded, click on it, and it will take you to a blank page containing your image. Copy [Ctrl+C] the link from the search bar, then go back to the Signature box, and Paste [Ctrl+V] it into
Code:
[img]-->PASTE LINK INTO HERE<--[/img]
Then, click on "Change profile." And, you're done!

NOTE: CUSTOM IMAGES IN SIGNATURES SHOULD NOT BE ANY LARGER THAN 200 PIXELS LONG AND 695 PIXELS WIDE
