Anyone who has a custom character on their roster (like Naruto over Olimar and Zero over MK) may know that the character name in the result screen is uneditable.

For those people I got good and bad news.
Good news is, I managed to edit those names (and they are in a .msbin file).
Bad news is, it's for now only possible in PAL, this:

It somewhat breaks the name list
And I can't for my life find such a list in the NTSC ISO.

Interesting thing though is, editing the name list also effects the character names in tourny mode and in the record screen.

But if I by any change stumble upon such a .msbin in the NTSC version or someone else finds it for me, it may be possible to replace a character even more seamlessly.

I want to request a Roy CSS icon made from his character portrait of Melee with a white border around his head.
I tried to do it myself, but I just couldn't get the border right.

I would like someone to help me on this problem:


Whenever Naruto summons a clone on the ground, it is summoned in the middle of the stage (it summons fine when in air).

It's only the article which is centered in the middle of the stage, the hitboxes work and go just fine.
I suspect it has something to do on how the article is connected to the character (bone).
So I ask, how can you edit the article to be attached to a different bone (not with hitboxes, but from where the article is summoned)?

Ladies and gentlemen, may I please have your attention.
I have managed to successfully port Cloud Strife over DK.  AWESOME 2.0!

Air Down-B is now fully fixed and complete.
Side Smash snapback fixed.
Ground Neutral-B fixed (thanks to Sumire Omelette).
Barrel completely removed from his Entry.
Down Air fixed.
He now has a AAA combo (thanks to .Fade).
Throws and being thrown now fully function as normal (thanks to Dantarion's Tabuu).
He can finally use his Air Down-B! (thanks to Sumire Omelette).
His Ground Up-B now leaves the ground.
Fixed being Swallowed transporting you of the stage and fixed the sound boxes.
All of his attacks work, can grab normally and use almost all items normally.
His Final smash won't go further after the first hit (needs a new Final Smash).
Other than that, it is a perfect port and I can say I'm proud of it.

When I saw the vid Joshl92 made of the two Link PSA's at once (found here:

), I asked him what he did.
He said he only renamed FitLink.pac to FitToonLink.pac and placed those Link files in the Toon Link folder.
At first I didn't believe him, but after I tried to do it myself, I found out that it really worked (shown here:

I wondered why this was possible and if it would work for other characters.
I tried bluntly replacing characters with Cloud, only to find out it didn't work.
That's when I thought about the wholu module thing.
So I looked into both Link's and Toon Link's module file with Phantom Wings Module viewer (a program called aU2f91.exe which he posted on Smash Boards for people who actually know how to edit modules, which I don't know) and saw that Link and Toon Link have the same amount of Constructor lines.
So I went to look into Ike's module file and find a character with the same amount of Constructor lines as Ike and I found out that Meta Knight has the same amount of Constructor lines.
So I went on and did the same thing I did with Link and renamed the files to match Meta Knight's name and putted it into the Meta Knight folder.
And guess what?
IT WORKED!!!
Well, to an extent...
