Using BB to make the CSP only works if you've got the perfect pose, position etc. to make it look like it does in the CSP you want it to match. If somebody makes new CSPs from scratch the common method is to use BB, but as we want to have perfectly matching vBrawl and SJS CSPs for all the textures we have to do them by splitting and recoloring or SJS does his CSPs himself with higher accuracy (which he often does, thanks for that).

Speaking 'bout that, those new Kirby ones look godly. SJS.

I noticed none of us had made the color specific hats for either Kirby, so I went ahead and just did all of them, here you go. Donkey, Falco, Jigglypuff, Olimar and Snake hats for Mars (01), Minty (02) and Maritime (03) Kirby.

I just noticed that the last three Mars textures of the old thread are missing in the OP, namely Pit, Squirtle and Toon Link.

Falco: I really like the texture by itself, but it doesn't suit the project. The main problem is, as Mithost pointed out already, that you're using a red on the wrong side of the spectrum. Even true red isn't a main color, but reds with a orange tint. The white of the shoulder is also a bit too strong imo and the orange is looking a bit off, too. Try staying more within the palette that the other costumes use.

Mars Kirby CSPs:
You just take the CSP and recolor it, for most of the default CSPs you can also start with the render and downscale it after recoloring for a bit higher quality. I had the files for Kirby at hand, so I quickly made them for you.

Edit: Oh, and you should add pallettes to most CSPs to keep the file size low, which I initially forgot to do for those above - sry. I updated them with indexed versions.

For Kirby's cheeks I think you should either increase the color contrast or revert them to the Default version. Having a clear outline with a very similiar color looks a bit strange. What I had originally though of is something more along the lines of this.

I also agree with Xenozoa on the color.

Mars red is on the orange side - that's the reason why a more orange tone was suggested. Orange itself is not a main color, though.
As for the cheeks: Seperate the cheek texture from the skin color and edit it. If color changes alone are not enough, you can duplicate the layer to make them more visible (make necessary edits in case it looks bad) or alternatively just redraw them. Others may have better methods, but that's what I came up with.
It's also not really necessary to change them, I just figured it would look better from what I did with Maritime Kirby.

That skin change is too extreme, try a 5-10 red instead. It still supposed to be a red texture after all. Aside from that you could try making the cheeks a little more pronounced.

I'll most probably be making recolors of the AbyssWolf sprites for all the missing UT costumes, if you guys don't do it sooner. I just won't have enough time during the next two weeks to make any remarkable progress.

Here Epic, my Mars and Minty Pikachus with default hats. Those were literally just a few clicks, if you need CSPs tell me and I can easily throw them together, too.

I toyed around with a trainer cap on Mars Pika, but the bandana just looked so much better that I didn't even bother uploading a version - if there is a demand for Mars pika with a trainer cap, I would of course make one.

For Jigglypuff, I'd actually be more interested in a green eyed Minty version with default fur or close to it and might just make that, but a fully blue Jigglypuff wouldn't hurt either just for completion's sake.

I released Pikachu.

And here's the stuff (CSPs etc.) to go with it:

Snake's red could stand to be a tiny bit darker imo, but that could well be just me liking darker Mars textures.

I also finally recolored that SJS-portrait for Minty Pit - if anybody wants to paint a better gradient on the wings I can give him the .xcf.

@Devicer: I just noticed that those two are missing in the Maritime OP.

This is what was missing when I made my list minus your standard CSPs. I haven't seen any of those, too, but they just may not have been posted.

Missing CSPs: ICs, Ike, Mr. Glow&Watch, R.O.B., Sonic
Missing SJS-CSPs: Bowser, Shun's Captain Falcon, Falco, Fox, ICs, Jigglypuff, Link, Lucario, MK, Ness, Olimar, R.O.B., Sonic

I haven't checked what's missing for Minty, but I found neither SJS-Pit nor SJS-ZSS while I integrated those textures into my build. I've got Pit split up so I can do him, I just didn't come around to it yet. I was mostly occupied with custom projects, so I didn't do much for this one. All I have is an edited Mars-Peach-SJS-CSP (the hair looked weird to me - it still does to a lesser extent) and one version of Mars-Jigglypuff stock and SJS-CSP.

Has anybody played with Minty Lucario? I felt like he could be too light, but I can't say for sure because I just darkened him before I put him ingame.
