i am using riivolution to load hacks.   i no it is not the disc or the wii as brawl plays ok  when i load it normally
i had heard that using the sd slot could cause this so i switched to using a usb...to no avail.  i also heard that using smashtacks to get Riivolution  onto your Wii could also cause problems so i  deleted the  bin file  . again no results .
i am completely stumped  especially that now that i think of it most people report the game freezing  as soon as they get to the stage select screen, while i could stay on that screen forever with no freezing.   the moment i press any button {i can still use the cursor though} the game freezes and begins the infamous loooooong beep.
the weird thing is i never had this problem till a few days ago ...an the only change i can remember making  was deleting
the common5_en.pac i had placed on the SD card because  i felt that it was taking up space {i never used any custom portraits etc, and i remembered which character had what mods.   i then thought that maybe one of my  custom stages  was the problem so i deleted all of them {after backing them up first} still the same thing happens.  i have exhausted every  option i can think of .  so anyone else had this problem before?  and does anyone know how to fix it?

i have an issue  where no texture hacks /PSAs work  for shiek
i have made sure to  have both .pacs and .pcs for shiek  and have put  the fitmotion files in  the common.pac
/common_en {tried both versions.}   however  Shiek  absolutely  refuses to change at all .

every other charecter works perfectly   i only have issues with shiek  and have had issues with her since day 1 of my time using mods on brawl     after searching forever and  not finding any solutions   that work for me  i ask this now.    i am using riivolution {gecko os refuses to  even be installed on my wii....anybody know whats up with that?}  and this is my xml

i have multiple shiek textures that i want to use , however no matter which texture i use  none of them show up
{using riivolution} . i can use textures on every other charecter, including zelda and when i switch between zelda and shiek   and back Zelda still has whatever custom texture i was using
