I got 3ds Max 8 from MegaUpload and did everything, but when I run the program it tries to verify a license then makes me have to input an activation code and a serial number like I bought a copy of it. Someone that I know also downloaded it, but he didn't have to do any of that! The only difference we have is that his computer is an XP and mine is a Vista. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

can anyone using 3DS Max 8 post the Collada dle file? I can't get the bloody thing to install properly (since it can't find 3Ds max, it'll just pretend to install then deletes the dle files)

I have a problem, when i run ColladaMax it does'nt detect 3DS max for some unknown reason so it wont install the plugin. Can someone upload the literal plugin's?

It says that it supports 3DS Max 8... Says som'in about it will install the source/documents anyways then I can copy the plugins myself but i can't find the plugins.

I'm trying Mariokart's method before I quit trying to vertex but I can't seem to get Collada to install into my 3DS Max 8. It was able to install into 9 but I changed outa that one cause of when I've been reading. Now just says it can't detect my 3ds max. any pointers?

Can it tell if you don't have a folder? I know mine is laking any extra frolders I haven't made for the other chars.

I hope I do. I already have a ton of fun making animations. At the moment I can't vertex due to unknowning what to do next since I got everything installed/extracted. I got the FitSamus00.pac/pcs and I dono what to do from there. If I can get to the point of seeing it in 3DS, I can prob go from there.

I'm getting bored waiting about and I'm attempting to do vertexing myself. I got (a trial... needa crack it somehow) 3DS Max 9, the ColladaMax file, AIS, and DosDonkey box. I'm now confused on where to go from here. Any pointers? ^_^
