16  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Use Psa and sounds on another character on: February 02, 2014, 09:08:50 AM
You'll have to go through something tedious... If what you said is have the ported Ike with Olimar sounds and to modify Olimar's sounds with Ike's ones.
You'll have to put EVERY sounds from Olimar into the Ike PSA... ALL of THEM Im srs here

But would Ike keep his sounds? And doesn't every soundbank have the same amount of wave sounds?
17  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Use Psa and sounds on another character on: February 02, 2014, 08:56:46 AM
Actually, Ike's soundbank is supposed to play instead of Olimar's one... It happens that sometimes it doesn't (especially if you do Ike vs Ike .rel port over Olimar). Or you can use the codes to make sure that Olimar has Ike soundbank (I think that code is in the Cloud over Olimar PSA in the vault...)

Let's say I wanna keep Ike's sounbank but when i use a Ike mod over Olimar I wanna use a modified Olimar soundbank is it possible?

It is. Grab a character (for example a Ike PSA), add a .rel which makes him go to Olimar (Idk how to do .rels, but search around the Vault, you'll find some...), place the .rel in the "pf/module" folder (it must be named ft_pikmin.rel), put ALL Ike's costumes you need in the pf/fighter/pikmin folder, the PSA files, and you're done!
Easy.

EDIT : Not all the characters are portable via .rel files for now... But a lot of them are... Again, check the Vault and even the forums to get what you need...

Thanks that helps a lot and as for the sounds will it be able to replace the exact number of wave sounds needed for that character? What i mean by that is for example ike has 50 while olimar has 62?
19  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Use Psa and sounds on another character on: February 02, 2014, 06:10:38 AM
Sounds yes, PSA's no.
Use Swandz to replace the sounds of the characters.
PSA's are unique to each character as it calls articles, graphics, and sound effects from their files.

So it's not possible to so like when you do it with stages when you add modules.

Is it possible to use psa and sound clips on another character. For example instead of using Wolf i use it on ROB?

With the help of LegacyWolf we where able to resolve the problems of the stage...

This is what Scuttle Town looks like for now:

This is what it will look like:

I still need to add a few models(not a lot), I'll probably add the background and sea from the Pirat Ship stage in the background of my stage and I'll add better textures...

23  Help & Tutorials / Help / I have a problem with a stage I created on: August 26, 2013, 03:27:31 PM
So i made a stage but when I wanted to test it my game froze for some reason. I made the stage over Pictochat when creating it.

Here is a link to my stage: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ubdfb8x8g8gocpj/STGPICTCHAT.pac

A few information is needed befre anyone checks it out:
-DO NOT MOVE ANY MODELS FROM MY STAGE
-The stage goes over Pictochat
-If the problem is found please tell me
24  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Stages / Re: Stage update Shantae's "Scuttle Town" on: August 25, 2013, 08:43:16 PM
As far as custom models go, buildings like that are a place to start. I look forward to seeing what you create.

Also, here's a tip: you can reference the other stage's models to get a sense of the size to make platforms and such. For example, you can see what the average height from the floor to platforms in stages like Battlefield is.

(Another tip: have you tried using the Print Screen button? Tongue)

Yes I have tried the average height thing and will modify during it's progress.
This what I will do in order:
1-place the models in the correct size and position
2-Add a background
3-Add small details to the stage such as jars from the "Pirate Ship" stage and elephant head statues in the gate of the town
4-Give someone else to test it to do hard modifying like camera angles and such.(or I have problems with stage to fix it)
5-Add images for icons and the name

25  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Stages / Stage update Shantae's "Scuttle Town" on: August 25, 2013, 06:58:35 AM
So a wile back I posted a request for a stage based on "Scuttle Town" from Shantae here:
http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=62194.0

Since nobody cared I started to build the stage myself. An you would be happy to know that I learned enough to create the stage myself.

Here is a picture of my progress

If anyone is interested in helping me with the project you may ask me...

You click and drag a texture from your pictures and you release over your model....

I found a tutorial I think I'm covered.

Open up the directory where your desired pictures are stored, click on the image file of the texture and drag it to the 3d model in 3DS Max.

I give up the tutorial is out dated and i can't seem to find the wright buttons. Could you do it for me I think it's easy probably for you.

You click and drag a texture from your pictures and you release over your model....

How where do I click that?
Could you please explain me step by step?
28  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Texture and model problem on: August 24, 2013, 01:20:03 PM
Clicking and dragging them. However, if you're creating a new model, you have to UV map them and that's something I'm still learning on (aka I don't know how to UV map yet since official models already did them for me)

Clicking and dragging them where? Plus I made the cylinder and sphere out of the already made one out for me.

You add textures in 3DS Max

How?
30  Help & Tutorials / Help / Texture and model problem on: August 24, 2013, 07:16:40 AM
So I created 3 models of a cylinder, sphere and cone on 3DS Max and exported them to a DAE format. After that I exported them to a mdl0 format.

This is where the problem starts. Unlike other model like a block or stair these three model have no folders called "Textures". How am I suppose to add textures now?
