Are you positive the GCT is in the right directory? I had a similar problem and for some reason my SD card only reads codes from F:/gecko/codes/RSBE01.gct.
I need someone to test a little Bridge of Eldin hack I made. I saw posts like this in Help, Texture Hack, etc. so if this is in the wrong thread, please move it.
When I boot up Brawl via Gecko OS (1.9.3 if it helps) and nothing loads from my SD card. Codes like the Brawl+ CSS but the File Patch Code doesn't seem to work. I also get this weird lag in the menus. What is going on?
If you use Wordpad, don't. I tried it and it froze for me. Use Notepad (if you aren't already). I think Wordpad++ works.
No, what I did was I went to the Custom Song Maker, pressed the button on the right that said export. When I clicked that it asked what I wanted to export it as. I clicked the button that said songs.db. I didn't edit it or anything because it had all the custom songs names in it. I used the Any Length Song Title Tool put that in pf/info2. I didn't edit it in wordpad, notepad or any other text editing tool.
I've been replacing song names in my info.pac. I've been exporting the song.db from Dantarion's Custom Song Maker and making the titles with the Any Length Song Title Tool (again, by Dantarion). It's been under 391 kilobytes the whole time but when I put it in pf/info2 and boot up the game it freezes. What is going wrong here?
Just out of curiosity, is it possible remove final smash effects ( i.e The Triforce in Link's Final Smash) by hexing off the polygons or something similar.
It's supposed to help you realize that you can't do what you're trying to do. Unless you're some hacking savant or something.bv
No I'm pretty sure it's possible because BigSharkZ is working on Zero. He uploaded a video and everything. It's possible, though I'm not exactly sure how.
