I like them both a lot, but luigi usually has his hat and shirt the same color. I understand that you don't want him to look too much like the waluigi skin so try making his hat black while keeping the L purple.
As for Mario, he looks good, but he seems a bit dark. Try making his shirt a lighter shade of purple.
A possible mario alt could be to make his hat and pants purple, his shirt white with a purplish tinge like smash 64 link, and his shoes black.
Seriously though, you're kind of a natural it this.
I really don't know what to say about Lucas. Maybe black shoes, indigo socks, grey pants, midnight blue and light gray stripes?
Guys! Don't be afraid to use a more red shade of purple! You don't have to be bound by the pallet shown in the OP, as some characters use more reds than blues.
Welcome to the new Project Mirage Recolor Thread! The last thread was outdated and needed attention so this thread was created for the continuation of the Mirage Project. In this thread, we'll create, post and compile recolors of the characters in Project M, to fit the mod's theme, hues, and layout; the dark purple/blue you can see in menus and artwork. This will work for anyone that has Mewtwo2000's cBliss Tool for extra costume slots. Anyone can join if they would like, just post a recolor that fits the theme (below) and receive feedback to know if there's something that can be adjusted. Happy Modding!!
Here are some good examples of this project
Characters highlighted in GREEN have been finished. Characters highlighted in YELLOW are in progress. Characters highlighted in WHITE haven't been taken. Characters highlighted in RED need to be reworked.
Welcome, in this thread, we'll create, post and compile recolors of the characters in Project M, to fit the mod's theme, hues and layout; the dark purple/blue you can see in menus and artwork. This could work for those that use cBliss as well, which allows a lot of texture slots. The recolors will focus on using dark purples and blues, dark brown, cyan, very light yellow, as well as gray and some black and white details; including the use of adding the Project M logo if possible or viable without making it to look forced in some way. You can join if you like, just show a recolor that fits well with the theme (mentioned above) and receive feedback to know if there's something that can be adjusted. cya :3
you can use this if you like/can, thanks to Kramerdorf for editing this
This is what has been done so far in this project, you can find the one you want (as long as it's been done/uploaded)
ANNOTATIONS Needs Work: means that the character hasn't been taken yet Needs Update: means that the character requires to be reworked and present a new product To be updated: means that the character is going through a revamp, then to be revised TO BE RELEASED: means that the character has been aproved but there's no actual public download
I hope someone takes over this thread. Only Scout, RedGamer and I have actually come back to post on here. Perhaps it is time to finish Wario and Charizard.
the lack of effort in making a proper and updated OP, even though a user did make an OP for him already and he never accepted it. But fear not, for this project had one thing that always supported it, fans. And I've ran into many, many Smashboards users speaking of Project Mirage and how they want it finished, since they like the color palettes and how it blends with project M.
I was the one that made an OP on page 9, but mine was used and updated.
I had no idea that Project Mirage had a fan base on smashboards. I'm more than willing to be the OP of the smashboards thread since I'm always on smashboards, I'm not sure who is cool with being the KCMM thread OP though.

I'm pretty sure that if I had just brightened it up I wouldn't have had to saturate it by much. I'll know for sure what I'll have to do in a couple of days.
