I am SO HYPE but whenever I try this on Project M and try to go through all the costumes, My game crashes Oh shi~

It has been said in this thread many times now that this version does not work with Project M. The next version will fix that.

Well, color me surprised, I actually didn't expect them to revamp old stages. Guess I really should start to wear my glasses...

Anyway, I started to preliminarily texture the GCO Omega version. Obviously they will be improved later.
Any plans to up the detail on that tree a bit? Or are you gonna leave it with its low poly charm like in Smash 4? Tongue

Sorry if this isn't the right thread for this.

I've gotten a lot better at 3D modeling since the last time I was active here (though I also haven't really done much in the past 7 months or so). None of these are specifically for Brawl, but here's some examples of my work.

These are some My Little Pony models I made ages ago when everyone (myself included) thought it was hip and cool to watch a show about cartoon horses.


I emulated another artist's style with these models so they'd go with his pony ones, but aside from the eyes it's all completely original geometry. You might recognise one or both of these models, but since their Smash Bros and Gmod debuts respectively I had started updating them and adding more detail. They're not quite where I want them to be yet, but I'll probably never come back to them since I'm not really interested anymore. The Spike v2 source files used to be available on my deviantART but I've since hidden it.

Since then, I kinda developed a thing for low-poly models. These probably aren't really "low-poly", but I still like how they came out. These are all of original characters, first picture being of my own. I even tried doing these as commissions but it didn't really pan out. Some of these I'm thinking of revamping too, but I'd also like to branch out a bit and try other things.





I'm thinking of getting back into Brawl modding, but we'll see if I can actually be motivated to do that, especially when the bar has been raised so significantly in the last 3 years. Tongue

Oh man, this is exactly the mod I was hoping would exist for Brawl. I love Smash 4's art direction and going back to Brawl is painful. I love what you're doing here, so keep up the good work!

This is gonna be my first attempt at rigging and it'll be over Ganondorf. Obviously I've still got to add the gloves and boots.



I never realised how fun it was although nothing has gone terribly wrong yet, so I'll reserve a full judgement until then :p

Also about the Sonic/Shadow thing, if it's really that out of hand, considering making it a rule where you won't get moderator approval if you make a [censored]ty version of a popular character. That way, only those who actually do make an effort to "Fix Shadow" will be granted permission.

This is similar to a rule in a Sonic fangame community I come from where you're not allowed to make a stupid recolour or an overpowered character and you won't get moderator approval if you try, because these things used to saturate the editing and releases forums long ago. Heck they even took some of the character attributes out of the game itself to combat overpowered characters.

Honestly, the way everyone carries on about Shadow here, I don't know why it isn't even a rule.
