This is a side project I have been working on for about three weeks now.
I took smashville and put it on Norfair. There are only two glitches so far. The smashville main stage is lower than smashville is supposed to be, I am looking into a way to fix this.(tstance of stage and animation did not change the position) The moving platform when on the right has a rare chance of teleporting you to the center of the stage.

I was wondering if anyone could help me and tell me what is wrong with my stage and why the main stage model does not move to where it is supposed to be (smashville's location). And also help me fix the glitch where the moving platform snaps to the center.
I did answer him. With all of my MetaKnight prehexed files, the only glitches that occur are when armless MK vs shoeless MK and viseversa. Those are the only glitches with any of the hexed files.
The only glitch I have encountered so far with Tailess Squirtle is that if you fight Lucario and are hit by any of his attacks, the game will go slow for a moment and/or crash during the match between the two. Tailess Squirtle can battle just fine with any character except for Lucario.
Also, I see other people posting BrawlVault links with the BV button thing, how do I do that?
I was wondering if there was a way to use a texture for a boss, IE: Gutsman Galleom, in SSE. I have not used any boss textures yet because most if not all of the textures on Brawl Vault for bosses say that they can be used for Boss Battle mode only. Is it possible to use a boss texture in SSE at all?
Wow MonkUnit, Those are great! Do you think could make a Ball Meta Knight? Meta Knight with all appendages removed except for his body, Mask and cape? I made one, But It causes glitches and slow-down.
I can try. If it does cause lag, I will try and remove everything I can until it does not lag.
I hope this is ok if I double post right now. I tried making the strap white, that made it white in brawl, i tried making it black, it crashed brawl, i tried it again with it being black, no crash but the strap is black, tried making the strap transparent, it made the strap black in brawl. I just can't win with this problem. You can go ahead and vertex the strap away.
If I can't get the texture to be transparent and not glitch out, if it is ok with you, you can vertex the straps out. If I can't get the texture to not glitch out, you can vertex the straps and upload it to brawlvault as your own because I have not contributed anything to your file. Thank you though.
Thanks. I tried to "remove" the straps by making the straps transparent. In brawlbox it looked fine. I tested it in game and it just glitched out. There were polygons from the strap sprawled out everywhere. I am going to try exporting the texture again and trying again. Hopefully it will work. If I have any more problems with the backpackless PT I will post them here. Thanks for the help.
Thank you, dingoberriz. I wonder why yours did not glitch out and my hexed one did. Oh well. I can get rid of the straps myself though. Would you mind if once I got rid of the strap, if I were to upload it to BrawlVault with credit to you?
I am trying to make a backpackless PT. I was able to get rid of the straps for the most part by selecting the strap portion of the the body texture and making it transparent. That worked. I then tried to hex off the backpack itself and tested it in game. The result was really bad, there were polygons everywhere making a huge mess on the screen, and there were so many polygons on the screen that when I tried to go to the result screen, it just blackscreened and crashed. So I believe that means I can not hex the backpack polygon without errors, which is fine. I then tried to select the backpack portion of the body texture and tried removing that, no matter what I did I always had small tiny lines of colour. I then saw that the backpack had a bone I could scale. I scaled the bone to be 0.0001 for the X, Y, and Z scale. the straps now formed an X on his back and the backpack was not visible anymore. I then deleted the strap portion of the texture. Now I have Pokemon Trainer without straps or a backpack. I place the FitPokeTrainer00.pac, FitPokeTrainer.pcs, and FitPoketrainerMotionEtc.pac in /pf/fighter/poketrainer. I tested it in game and there were polygons everywhere again! I then changed from original colour to the next by hitting X on my GCC. I tested it in game. The motionetc worked and the straps formed an X and I had no errors.
Could the error be the edit to the original PT texture I made?
If anyone could please download these files and view them in brawlbox and test it in game that would be good. If anyone has an idea why the original texture glitches and using someone else's texture doesn't glitch, please let me know.
Oh, by the way, I will not be doing the Cammy texture because it has already been done and mine looked bad already. Please give me any feedback on this stage. The textures on the ship got borked when i tried to put them back on so I had to use another texture.
You should give him a police baton or a wooden kendo stick.
That is not a bad idea. But the pinstripe texture is supposed to be sort of like a mob boss texture. I may do a policeman toon link texture either after or as a side project to the cammy texture. Thanks for the idea!
