Next thing I’ll start on is finishing Raidenpuff (with a much more detailed body texture than before). It’ll also have a vertex hacked hat.

The Jockey, from Left 4 Dead 2. Texture directly taken from the game. I was going to fully vertex hack his body and hands and whatnot to look like a jockey instead of Diddy Kong, but I won’t be able to do that anytime soon, especially considering the effort it takes with my current method of vertex hacking. His tail is removed (vertex hack) and I tried deleting as many polygons of arm hair that I could (not much).

He has a few “glitches”, none of which affect gameplay.

1. When he is damaged, Diddy Kong’s eyes always shrink. his whole eye texture wraps weird at that point (as seen in the one picture above)

2. When attacking with Diddy’s tail (end of A combo), his butt deforms, has a hole in it (which I tried closing when removing the tail), and you see a fragment of his tail stretched around

3. Diddy Kong’s smile taunt shows his teeth, which I also have textured, so it looks like he has 2 sets of teeth with that taunt (which looks pretty creepy, so I kept it)

I'm making tail-less diddy kong for my newest texture. removing the tail verticies makes me end up with a hole in his "pants"(part of texture). closing his hole in his "pants" looks great in brawlbox and whatnot.

HOWEVER, in-game, the tail and his pants are still affected by his tail bones and his tail gets out of his model (no matter how far in him i put the verticies) and his pants open back up.

this could probably be fixed if I deleted his tail bones, but, I'm not sure how to do that, or if that would mess up any part of his moveset (hitboxes and whatnot)

any help?

vertex edit (remove tail, jockey-like body, jockey hands and feet)

what to do with the jetpack...

(maybe it's made of chocolate)

if more could be removed on snake, like his vest or straps, then he can be edited much easier, it is a very large pain to match textures in separate files... but as little extra polygons on snake makes editing him much more practical

yeah... i see the glitch. I have no clue why it does that. I might have to recompile kirby to make it work.

the creation of a method of model hacking in brawl coincidentally is progressing nearer to the time I'm going to learn how to rig models in my animation program... awesome
