Can you please show a video of it working?

I don't have enough time at the moment, but I intend to. If you want to look at it a different way, the pack contains all PM files and cosmetics outside of the character select screen and the codes used for PM minus the css stuff.

I've gotten pretty used to making brawlex packs, that I realized theres not too many things that have to be specific to add the characters. In fact, my pack edited with PM (http://www.mediafire.com/download/vkxbwgagivois26/MeleeMastersMegaMovesetMixV1.1[PM].zip) contains less glitches when trying to start up than it has before, prolly cause i'm sacrificing some of my old cosmetics or codes and one of them in the previous builds might have been glitchy.

So that PM Brawl Ex thing MeleeMaster does it use PM Mewtwo like can he float?

well it contains everything that PM does except for mewtwo, partially because people use their own movesets, partially because they have to set up mewtwo themselves, but mainly because they clone mewtwo in a way separate from brawlex, causeing some glitches with stuff like the shadowball and jab. if you want to use a PM style and compatible mewtwo clone. I suggest you use the one in PM unbound's pack: http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=67176.msg1245101#msg1245101

Hey, anyone wanna make their Brawlex pack PM compatible? Add this patch:
http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=203111

but be careful not to override what you want separate. this will override the following with project m stuff instead:
-Stages
-stage selection screen
-strap/loader other menus/intro vid
-codes
-results screen
-all standard character movesets
-some characters' costumes (whichever ones PM overrides)
-some in-game portraits
-some result screen portraits

What this WILL NOT override:
-character selection screen (sorry, it's not just something you can override. You'll have to make it yourself/combine with PM's)
-brawlex characters and their modules
-character costume portraits
-all non-overridden costumes/portraits
-Roy or Mewtwo (if you want a brawlEX compatible mewtwo, download a beta of PM unbound and copy mewtwo's folder)

You will have to edit the character selection screen file to also make characters like dr mario's alt mario costume available

Allight, I fixed my PM compatible pack

[link removed]

changes in 1.1 over 1.0 (current vbrawl pack):
(the changelog file in the PM pack is outdated btw)
-Made PM compatible
-I don't think there are any bugs remaining besides what's listed below
-Added smash 4 HUD
-Added smash 3 textures
-added appropriate music for classic stage expansion
-Changed results screen to coeum
-Changed pictochat to skiff (lemme know if I should change it back)

bug: alloys don't have a code to fix their animations at the results screen. watch out.

all thanks to the PM team, the PM unbound team, all soon-to-be-posted credited persons, and all previously credited persons

someone try out this css edit on the existing build: http://www.mediafire.com/download/27rkck24kvb6g4f/PMUnbound+CSS+fix2b.zip

you should be able to notice that mewtwo and roy have PM costume portraits. (not that this was the major change but the others shouldn't be noticeable compared to the previous- namely the the files are restructured to be in the correct order)
22  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Project Concepts / Re: Project M Unbound (Now Compatible With Brawl EX Clone Engine) on: April 06, 2014, 09:34:32 PM
Bugs: Pichu: Pichu's head tends to get big and that healing animation when he does his up taunt occasionally surrounds him when he's moving. His aerial neutral B has the chance of freezing an opponent for a long time.

Megaman: He doesn't have directional airdodge. Also, he has vbrawl physics.
Roy doesn't have his own SFX (he's silent)

It's good to notice all bugs, so good job.

fixes for these:

use the pichu model import and delete the motion file, this will fix resizing and known freezes with the file.

as for megaman, his moveset might not be "suited" for PM, as are all clone characters besides roy and mewtwo. I think, but am not sure, that the airdodge isn't correct because of his moveset.

and yeah, someone with the knowledge should add sfx for characters

so, the error occurs when the program is trying to find brawlex files for the original roster? that seems like something easy and necessary to fix.
24  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Project Concepts / Re: Project M Unbound on: March 31, 2014, 06:57:31 PM
yeah, I just meant that all the codes seem to be working
25  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Project Concepts / Re: Project M Unbound on: March 31, 2014, 02:12:10 PM
cosmetics fixed, anyone on the team who can do CSS stuff should replace the portraits and stuff with better than what i've done. but at least that'll fix all the freezes.

heres a patch over any builds anyone on the team might already have:

EDIT:http://www.mediafire.com/download/fgssy328gw5s13h/PMUnbound_linked_CSS.zip

(it's extracted from my pack and modified for the current characters- the 1st pichu cosmetics are the correct ones for the pack)

for only those that really care:

slots 39 and 27 are not included because brawlex doesn't need to override other cosmetics to work. (PM used these for roy and mewtwo's cosmetics, which i moved to their own slots)

therefore, you can also have an original Pokemon trainer slot if you wanted

tell me if you find any glitches

not a pack update, but a little teaser to wet your appetite.

PROJECT M COMPATIBLE MEGAMOVESET MIX

I'm not gunna officially release this for a while, so unofficially, get it here:
[link removed, see below for fixed release]

glitches (which i can fix soon)
-alloys can mess up results screen (could crash)
-stage icons missmatched from the stage they load (shouldn't crash)

For those wondering, the build's looking great. all the menu's have the PM look and the gameplay is just like PM and glitch free. We just gotta begin improving by building the best brawlEX pack for this.

Might I suggest we start considering the list of character's we're gunna ultimately have?
28  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: The BrawlEx Clone Engine on: March 30, 2014, 02:28:31 PM
How u ppl make signatures I can't find out how
you can change it in profile, then "forum profile information" on the right

yeah, i have the sdhc code not working on the standard launcher. I'll have my friend try out the code using the project m launcher, which incidentally i forgot to remove from my pack lol.

I'll work on makin project M compatible with brawlex. BUT I WONT RELEASE THE CODES so don't worry anyone on the team watching this thread. I'll just make a version of the 3.0 GCT file that doesnt have css breakin stuff and anyone can use it for their packs (that is unless someone does this before me). Therefore, the codes will remain a secret to everyone.
29  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: Working BrawlEx with Project M! (Help Wanted!) on: March 30, 2014, 03:28:10 AM
Here is my update video of the latest version that I have working! Sorry about the poor audio at the beginning of the video.  Undecided

Project M + BrawlEx Codeset test update  (I'm P2 Wink)

There are some glitches, which is to be expected. Such as Mewtwo's shadowball not showing up after playing as Lucario. Goku also freezes, as you can see at the end of the video, when he does his melee dodges. Also me and some guys were just playing it, and we have gotten random in-game freezes, but only like 1 within the 3 hours we were playing it!

excellent work. If it's any assistance, I've tried taking mewtwo's moveset from PM and using him in Vbrawl. That exact same glitch occurred. this leads me to think that their mewtwo's moveset is using something not standard to lucario's files or likely it requires a code we haven't deciphered.

My pack uses Project M roy's data files directly from his fighter folder. No glitches. As such (as many of you already know) the codes and the PSA's are 2 halfs of a whole when it comes to the playstyle you get in PM.

EDIT: someone should try V-brawl with ALL of project M's files. and just use a file replace code or whatever and see if the glitches in some of the movesets dissappear
