well I believe since the models are loaded with the skeletons of each characters, it would be as simple to at least modify the original models into whatever, considering tons of the characters are playable with moveswaps, and each moveswap could work completely with the right material to avoid defaulting to t-poses and game freezing. so the hardest character "templates" to follow or their skelitons to apply at least correctly would be kirby, game & watch, jigglypuff, bowser, samus/zzsamus, zelda/shiek, and pokemon trainer
I'm not that far into my program... including rigging and character modeling, I was planning on more movements for characters until I realized that I couldn't really do any of that until I rigged them. so they all ended up having singular poses. so I really wasn't trying to make them move at all, just model stuff and make a cinematic short.
but it was overall the best final project of the class, and I'll hopefully learn more for making characters better soon
there HAS to be a less tedious way to replace sound files, we can extract them, so if we can repackage them (which i think the smashbox team is working on) then it would end up much nicer than this
Ok, I'll ask, where does the Mudkip sticker go on the SD card, and what do I name it?
I dunno how to work the item files, there's a guide for making them work, and i think they might need to be added to a file which contains all of the other items, making a single file for this, perhaps less useful than it's current form.... but i dunno really
I could really benefit from this green screen stage. Starting to make CSPs for everyone've Downloaded so far.. Which stage creator theme did you apply this to?.
for fun and easy greenscreen effects. the further the camera is away from the stage, the darker the stage pieces are from the background... making it more difficult to maintain greenscreen effects at a far distance
it also makes for easy photoshopping... (but Gimp doesn't magic wand select as well as photoshop )
got a bunch of work done on spidersheik... I don't know if the ponytail or sword sheath models can be invisible or not (probably not, but some character's hair can be invisible i think, i'll try later...)
