Dr. Mario is the only one planned for wifi safe reasons, but the others won't happen.
That's fair. I think I might just make the other alt costumes on my own. Idk when that will happen though. Maybe Thanksgiving break. I will definitely make sure to share them here when/if I complete them.

Wow.  For the 75th time: the X/Y model of Nidoking is being rigged over Bowser as I type this.  Everyone needs to quit bagging on my test model, it's TEMPORARY.

Those are Norfair's textures one that model, just not the model because Norfair's models are all set to be displayed at one angle and actually in reality are terrible GFX to work with.

If only there was a better Nidoking model...

Note lava GFX are susceptible to change I'll probably work with their transparency and textures a bit to give them a more fiery look...

Could you maybe see if there are some textures or GFX that you could steal from Norfair? You might find something there.

Yeah I don't know if that is the exact font form vbrawl, but either way it is really close.
Also, for anyone wanting the PM font. The font they use is Edo SZ. Tongue

Quick question.

So are you guys gonna also do textures for the PM alts? Like PJ Ness, Shadow Queen Peach, and Dr. Mario?

Also what is the status of the remaining characters?

Me and my friends have really been enjoying using the Smash 3 PM version, but we wish it was complete. I would totally help on this project, except for that fact that my computer is out of commission at the moment...

Nidoking Progress

So I've finished Nidoking's Down Special: Earth Power & Earthquake, on the ground it's a 2 stage chargeable attack where Nidoking unleashes stalagmites from the ground and each charge increases range, spike amount, damage & knockback.  In the air Nidoking comes plummeting down and slams into the ground unleashing a wave of rock in front of him that knocks opponents into the air with 8% damage.

So do the spikes come out of the ground in a line, or in one big chunk? I personally think it would be cooler to have all the spikes erupt at one time instead of staggered. Would it possible to get a gif of that animation? I wish to see it in all of it's glory!

Well what I do for mine is this.
I took and exported the longest existing character name texture. Longest not in letters, but in pixel size.
I then went into photoshop and opened that file.
Use the paint brush. Make a layer on top of the texture that you paint completely black.
Then you make a text layer on top of that with the font you want.
Up to there is where I stop and save it as a template.

You can then type whatever name you want into the text, and then save as the png of it. Just don't ever re-save the original template with your edited name.

In some cases you may need to transform the text in order for it to fit.

That's basically it. (Maybe I should write a tutorial for this...)

That is found in the selcharacter.pac in the MiscData30 section. Inside of that you will find all the character's names. You can just add your clones names to that section. Just make sure to rename the texture correctly and with the corresponding clone number.

(My computer with all my brawl stuff is currently out of commission, and I haven't worked on brawlex stuff in a while, so if I got the names of files wrong I am sorry. Tongue)

Hey I'm not trying to be impatient or anything but I would like the award I won. Thecobra7 asked for me before and it seems as if nobody got back to him. If it's not possible just let me know. I really worked hard on my mod that I entered and it would be appreciated if the award was made. Like stated before I'm not trying to be pushy or impatient in the slightest, I just want what I worked for.
^^I feel the same way about Dylanator's tournament.

I think if you could just have the characters do their spinning fall animation during the FS. Then he can falcon punch down on them.

It needs work... The only way I figured it out was by looking at the url and seeing SCOTT.mp3 at the end.
