Well, if it is in the wrong folder, then all your hacks are in the wrong folder; are any of your mods working? Or is it just the Sonic moveset effects that aren't?

...Wait, Regular Brawl for hacks? Regular Brawl crashes the Stage Builder if you have Riivolution SD in, so maybe Wario does? Do you have the Riivolution channel? If not, install it, and run the hacks from there.

No I'm just trying to make regular wario work again with nothing edited or ported but ever since I began to use riivolution it won't work, the game will just freeze when it is selected. Before I edited any of wario's files I made a backup of the original files so I know these files under fighter>wario should be correct and working. Is it something that has to do with riivolution? Here is the format of my wario folder under pf>fighter>wario. Is the format correct?

The format is correct, but the standard location for Riivolution is in SD Root->ssbb->projectm(Unless you changed it)
Are all your hacks working? Because if none are, then you probably just have the wrong directory.
Also, the size of the .pac may actually be the problem in the first place. Try taking the textures in the .pac and reducing the size of each by halving the size of the picture(In MS Paint), until you get a file that's a lower filesize. To truly test it, you could actually just make a bitmap of 8x8 that's one color, and import that over the textures, and see if it still freezes when hovering over Wario; if it still freezes, then it's not filesize; if it doesn't freeze, it is filesize, and you solved it. Oh I getcha now! And because a pcs is a compressed file, it naturally should be smaller then a pac file anyway. I feel like such a dope now.

One last question - if a pac and a pcs file are the same size (which shouldn't happen anyway), does that mean that the texture will not work?

Well, seeing as it's physically impossible for a compressed file to not reduce filesize(That I know of, and yes is the case with this), that would mean that the filesize of the .pcs will always be lower than the .pac; if it's the same, that means that the files are different, which means that only the things that are identical will work.(Assuming that non-identicalness won't cancel everything)  So, I'm pretty sure that the texture won't work if that's the case, if it's simply a texture mod.(The .pac is the main one.)

Does it work the other way around to (Save PCS file as a PAC)? I heard that the file sizes are meant to be different (PAC higher then PCS), so saving by these methods will give me both files and different sizes?

It should yield identical results, whether or not you save the .pac as .pcs or the .pcs as .pac, since a .pcs is just simply a compressed .pac, which means that when you open it in BrawlBox, it will show the full information.(Kind of like how if you zip a folder, it's compressed and takes up less space, but when you extract it, it gets the full contents, as large as before it was compressed.)

FitWario01.pac is 1.2mb.
FitWario01.pcs is 483kb

It freezes with any wario selection.

The .pac is barely larger than the original, so I dunno.
Is it Classic Wario you're trying to port onto Wario01? Because I read from someone that Classic and Normal Wario have different bones or something like that, so you can't port them over each other, without having them be imports.

Yes; open it, and save it as the same name as the opposite.
Example: There is only a FitCaptain00.pac; open it in BrawlBox, "Save As", and then select ".pcs" instead of ".pac" for file type.
I do this when testing my recolors, too; makes importing the textures a lot faster, as you then only have to do it once. Pretty cool Smiley

I think we should replace EVERY character with a brand new one. I don't want to create something that has multiple rels of just one character. I want every single character to be unique in their own way and have something completely different about every single one of them.

This here is my OC(Made by NascaCorp) and he's known by Mellow Valentine(Link doesn't work in the description)

He's not a rel, he's something completely original you feel me? Also if I can, i'd like every contributor to put a character in. Everyone can have a part in it!

I dig that idea pretty hard, but let me put on a spin on it to throw it more towards the OC's direction. What if each one of those bosses had indeed been cloned by tabuu..BUT! The souls of said clones were placed into certain fighters at birth(Of course these fighters wouldn't know that it was the reason they were gathered here).

Matter of fact. We can take it a step further and say that EVERY character is an reincarnation of one of Nintendo's characters. Though that's just a thought. It doesn't have to swing that way if you don't want to.

I also like the whole Tabuu working with the main characters in order to take down the clones he's created, but I feel it should be taken in this way. In order to kind of introduce that mole-type character, we could have Tabuu destroy the reincarnations of the bosses in secret with said character. Tabuu and That character forming an alliance behinds everyone's back to get the job done.

After Tabuu and said character get the job done, he clones himself and stabs that character in the back, announcing to everyone what said character has done and that character is outted by the other fighters. He then gives that character the power to summon things like primids and other enemies to attack the fighters(making him the current main antagonist of the story and throwing Tabuu's track off for a bit).

After getting rid of that character. You find that Tabuu has secretly excecuted a number of fighters and replaced them with clones.(thus bringing the whole clone character thing in the mix. Also when you have to fight the shadow versions in SSE that could explain why they are there). So now you and the antagonists have to team up in order to defeat the remainder of the clones so you can get to Tabuu.

Tabuu realized that he is unable to turn the main protagonist into a trophy so he attempts to make him seem the bad guy and have the other characters execute him; but he convinces them otherwise and gets them back on his side before he has to take down Tabuu.

Once Tabuu is defeated, the main protagonist becomes Tabuu and the entire thing is reset. He then learns from Tabuu that this has been a chain of events that was repeated over and over again and hopes that in the next world he can finally put a stop to this twisted chain. It'll give the player a reason to play the game over and over again without rest.

How does that sound for an idea?

What is the filesize of the Wario .pac/.pcs? Because if it's larger than the original, it will freeze like that.

Pretty good story-line; has a Brawl feel, being similar, but not exact to the original SSE story Smiley

Here's an interesting thing  you could add onto the plot, too: The bosses(Master Hand, Rayquazza, Ridley, etc.) are actually clones of Tabuu that had their shapes deformed when cloned, but they have the same evil lurking inside them, bent on taking over the universe; eventually, they will end up facing each other off, with you in the middle and Tabuu coming to your side after realizing that "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." So, you(All the SSB fighters) fight alongside Tabuu to defeat the clones who are battling against each other.(They are identical, so none of them can win, but whoever is in the middle can get hurt, and because they are clones, they aren't dynamic like the original Tabuu, so they won't be able to change, and will forever battle each other.)
Then, after you and Tabuu fight them, Tabuu secretly clones himself perfectly, but with a modification to the clones that allows them to know that they are not Tabuu; he secretly does this while sending his minions(Primids, Bytans, Towtows, etc.) to attack you(All the characters). When he is done cloning himself and you discover that he did so, he conveniently cloned himself the same number of times as there are characters, so that you can choose whomever to fight against a clone; then, after all the clones are defeated, you face Tabuu himself, but you(Player) are the only one he is not able to turn into trophies by his move where he does the purple rings that insta-ko you on hardest mode.
After Tabuu dies, everyone is returned, including Tabuu(But not his clones), and no recollection from anyone of what happened, so that you can have a legit reason to do the game over-and-over again.

Another idea that's related: The antagonists could come to the protagonists' aid, teaming up like in original SSE story.

Yes; and, if the bones are the same as Snake's, you'll be able to have Snake as alternate costumes, too.
