What you could try would be, look at what model parts aren't the same in both, and then, for each one, look at how it looks (e.g. those black rectangles) and look to see if there's a texture that's not being used that's black
No worries, I myself work full time, so I know what that's like, lol
So, for the alternate textures, if there are any, it's not guaranteed, but they'll likely have an underscore followed by something like normals or spec at the end of the name; If you're not sure, you can Google texture maps for more information
As for the alpha, if you replace an image in Brawlbox with the texture(Do RGBA8 for maximum resolution) , you'll see checkerboards If the image has alpha
Do any of the textures have any sort of alternate textures, like specular maps, or normal maps, or the like? Also, do any of the textures have alpha in them? If you don't already know, alpha is the term for transparency of an image file
Ok, I replaced the file via the Dolphin method(WiiScrubber) and it worked flawlessly on my end, which means it's not the file itself; so both the model and BrawlBox are fine; it's got something to do with the loading itself, via either the file patch code or whatever you're using to load the file patch code. I honestly don't know much about the virtual SD method, because, personally I use the PM loading method and the WiiScrubber method, but my best guess would be that, since Riivolution(And possibly Gecko) have options to enable certain costumes before loading, maybe it's got something to do with that.
On an unrelated note, I would like to know how you shortened the length of the sword. Was it via one-slot resize? And if it was with that, which axis did you use, and was there an additional thing to it or just the basic thing of renaming/reparenting the EyeYellowM bone and/or renaming the YRotN bone?
This tutorial is for if you want to port one model over to another fighter(e.g. Sheik model onto Zelda's moveset).
Helpfull Hint: Press the 'Z' key to toggle wireframe in Blender; this is a really helpful toggle to use, especially with Weight Paint.

Ironically, I've actually tutored 3 people, including BlackKyurem, in model editing and importing, and all 3 of them seem to have talent
Another irony is that, after I'm finished with Project Wolf Link, I was actually going to see if I could get Blender working with Sm4sh, lol!
Also, do you know how I could get my tutorial to show up on Google? Because currently, even if I type into Google, "windhunter7 blender", my tutorial does NOT pop up at all. Because I think if this could actually be found via Google, it would get a lot more people seeing that Blender can be used, and then we'd get more traffic, and more people making model imports; I mean, if my tutorial has gotten over 1200 views, it'll probably get a lot more if it can actually be found, and I do want this forum to be more active; so do you know why it's not even appearing on Google? Is it because of the board it's on, or something like that? I figured, if you're a BV Staff, you might know.
