Pretty interesting read,I'm still curious though, If the Project M dev team is worried about adding 3rd party characters due to legal issues, then does that mean that a stage like Dracula's castle would need to be cut?

I also find the Sm4sh discussion interesting too, as there is already stuff in demo 2.6 that also appear in Sm4sh, so I'm hoping those don't go away. It really is going to be interesting what the character selection is beyond the likes of Roy and (The extremely likely) Mewtwo.

It does bear to question of, will we see more new semi clones like say Dixie kong or will we get new characters like Ridley? It's very interesting to see what direction the clone engine will cause Project M to go.

I totally just noticed that one of Roy's moves during his Double edge dance is based on Sol Badguy's gunflame from Guilty Gear...

Color me more hyped >.<

Just a heads up, the boneset I'm using for Simon is going to change, so keep that in mind. Proportions haven't changed, but the hiearchy has.

Fair enough, I'll make a version on Ike or Snake for now, and will rig him to the new boneset when ever you release/finish it.

Good luck with that model, It's pretty high quality so will need a lot of optimizing...

I know I tried rigging him myself but he kept crashing the game due to too many verts.

A little something something I'm working on, essentially a combination of fan art, and the best parts of his designs are going into this.

Obviously not done >.>



I'm probably going to rig it to Eternal Yoshi's Simon Belmont moveset, as well as maybe Snake or Ike.

Let me know what you guys think about it so far.

God damn, I'm glad you guys decided to keep going with him, as I was getting kinda pissed at my version of him.

Nicely done!

Now I gotta ask before I continue, are you guys planning on doing Mega Blaziken? If not I'll continue with my model, I just wanna make sure so I don't just waste time with it.

Yeah, I agree on the textures. The way the model was mapped, I didn't have much room to add the detail I wanted and I can't edit UVs freely either. If you (or anyone else) want to give the Chrom stuff a shot though, drop DoE a line and I'll send you what I had done.

Ike's looking good. I've edited the cape and will send the updated Vanguard Cape to you today, Vert.

I might actually be able to mess around with UV's if you and DoE might be down for some help, no guarantees though, but I'll see what I can do.

Very nice job on Chrom so far, other then some work that could be done to the texture/rigging fixes, it's looking great so far.

Decided to tackle the recently leaked  MegaLucario form from X and Y, still got a lot of work to do, but I'm probably going to wait to finish it once some clearer screens come out.

While Baraka is one of my least favorite MK characters, it's nice to see some MK characters regardless.

Would love to see a decent Shao khan on Ganon at some point
