61  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Drako Yoshi: BETA RELEASE!! on: July 02, 2010, 05:07:19 PM
Good job on the moveset. It's great to have another psa hacker, there aren't very many.
62  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Alucard (Symphony of the NIght) V1.0 on: July 02, 2010, 03:07:02 AM
I must say, my last hack took me 3 months to do and though i'm proud of it, it wasn't as good as this one, which took 3 weeks, including animating. Funny how these things happen...
63  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Alucard (Symphony of the NIght) V12.0 on: July 01, 2010, 06:53:38 PM
Alucard (From Symphony of the Night) Ok, so I have had this done for months and have forgotten about it.  Foolsgil reminded me with an offer to do a vid for it, which I had previously requested.

download link:http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=8891&Moderated=All
Download includes the motionpac and the pac, already named correctly. Here's the link to Wii's alucard texture:http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=5680&Moderated=All#Number=5680&Moderated=All
Video showing off all his moves here
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6FpiAkilVU" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6FpiAkilVU</a>

Alucard joins the brawl! Awakening from his deep slumber after his escapades within Castle Dracula, Alucard returns to conquer. He brings along some of his favorite weapons, including the Crissagrim, Alucard Sword, Marsil, and Rune Sword.
[/center]

Moveset:

A Ground Moves

AA (Punch/Slash)
Simple Punch and slash move.

Side Tilt (Crissigrim Slash)
Alucard slashes the Crissigrim. A quick slash.

Down Tilt (Any down sword slash)
A simple sweeping sword move.

Side Smash (Marsil Slash)
Alucard slashes his Marsil. A quick hit.

Down Smash (Power of Sire)
A weakened power of sire hit. Powerful thunder move.

Up Smash (Crissigrim Slash)
Alucard slashes the Crissigrim upward. A quick slash.

B Ground Moves

B (Rune Sword Slash)
Alucard throws the Rune Sword.

Tilt B (Alucard Sword Special)
Alucard uses his family airloom to teleport and slash backwards.

Down B (Hellfire)
Alucard casts the famous Hellfire.

Up B (Leap Boots)
Alucard uses the leap boots. (As leap boots you could use indefinatly in the game, you can also use them indefinatly here, however Alucard is very vulnerable to hits after using the leap boots.)

Air Moves

B in Air (Rune Sword Spike)
Alucard chucks the returning Rune Sword downward.

Down A (Kick)
Alucard kicks downward.

Forward A (Alucard Sword Slash)
Alucard Slashes his Alucard Sword.

Final Smash

Alucard uses a Pentagram to wipe all traces of enemies away. (Only works the direction Alucard is facing)

Notes/Known Bugs
-I created Alucard to stay mostly true to the gameplay style in Symphony of the Night, which also means his gameplay style is a bit more advanced for new people to the game. He can get the floor wiped with him quite easily, but he can also wipe the floor if someone knows what they are doing.
-The final smash adds the Marth final smash graphic following the characters hit. I don't know how to fix this.
-Some moves were completly unchanged. If you have any ideas what I can do with these moves, please post something about it.
-I animated a good percent of the moves, so the animations are very simple.

Credits
Wii - Texture included. Amazing for letting me use this.
BeWop - Most of the moveset ideas.
Myself - Obviously.

Changelog:
Released V1.0 - 7/1/10
64  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: The Enslaved UPDATE V1.2 on: June 27, 2010, 05:13:15 PM
Yea, I plan to have a down B that does something completely different when used in air.
Also, it hits a little bit wider than the graphics show, and it only hits on ground. It hurts ALOT, XD
As for the up B, yea, that's an easy fix that'll be available with the next version.
Thanks for the advice.
65  Help & Tutorials / Help / Almost Fixed! on: June 26, 2010, 11:19:08 PM
So This is about the issue comenly experienced when using blender to vertex hack,( the one where the character is unchanged and planes spurt out for infinity).
I have pinpointed the problem and also why it works for some and not for others.

The problem is, When you convert the files into Objs(which is necessary in order to edit in blender) and back again the file is changed. Here's a picture, the top being before and the bottom being after.

That shows that clearly, the file is changed(Note, this is only anim8or, it wasn't edited in blender.)
Now, the reason it works for some is that earlier versions of anim8or seem to not cause this problem.
So, if anyone can provide a link to to an earlier version( you cant find them on the website) or else upload the file to mediafire, I'd be very greatfull.
Thanks!

@polaris
I would be willing to help you with your moveset, I am currently available as far as hacking goes. What I need is a very specific list of every move you want edited and how you want them to be changed. If you do this, PM me so that we dont get to terribly off topic on this thread. Please be as specific as possible, If you do, the results will match your ideas much better

@Dotz
Thanks, I didn't know till recently that THAT'S what float variables are used for. Yea, the aura was a good idea, but I didn't want to throw that in there in the last minuet. I am going to make a moveset for ness after I do polaris's, so you'll see some sweet aura in that moveset i'm sure.

So, Any glitches with 1.2?

Yup, just replace the models in the character in brawlbox
68  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Pit/Sora Keyblades always showing on: June 21, 2010, 05:04:50 PM
Well, since your making sora, you could just take out the Nuetral B move if you do a PSA for him.
69  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Psa and brawlbox issues(I dont know which it is) on: June 21, 2010, 12:24:13 PM

70  Help & Tutorials / Help / Psa and brawlbox issues(I dont know which it is) on: June 21, 2010, 01:05:00 AM
Ok, so I am currently making a PSA for ness, but I've decided that it needs hair to complete the image. So what I did was I used mr. wegee's amazing method of partial model swapping. What that is is you take the part you want to add to the character, you take one of the character you're adding the part to and you replace one of the custom graphic effects with that part. So, I took Isaac's hair, colored it black and put it over the last model in his PSA( which should be his PSY magnet) than, I took the psy magnet animation and added 1000 frames to it. Then, in PSA I took his waiting animation and added a code that is this:
External graphic effect: File B graphic C bone 2B size 1. I left the rest unchanged.
Then, when he was waiting in brawl, he had hair, but he also had little sparks and flashes and that all(including his hair) went away after he stopped waiting.
Is there any way to get rid of the flashes and sparks on his head and have the hair stay there after he's done waiting?
71  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Pit/Sora Keyblades always showing on: June 21, 2010, 12:55:42 AM
Well, I hate to answer a question with a question, but how exactly are the swords defined as different? If they are all seperate polygons than you could delete the ones that arent vertexed. If they are all seperate models, you could replace them with the vertexed model. If they are anything else, tell me so I can try to find a solution.
72  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: The Enslaved UPDATE V1.2 on: June 19, 2010, 07:34:16 PM
Yea, I really would love to fix the legs, but my trial of 3ds Max ran out. Thanks, by the way.
73  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: The Enslaved (Moveset For Lucas) V1.0 on: June 19, 2010, 03:08:24 PM
Well, side B is just going to have less reaction to sideways momentum.
As for side smash, it was way to fast and not very good, so I'm replacing it. If you want, you can keep it on your lucas. sorry, i've had alot of people (including mmyself) not like his side smash.
74  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: The Enslaved (Moveset For Lucas) V1.0 on: June 19, 2010, 01:51:34 AM
Thanks for the advice. So far, I've done these things to his moveset:
lowered the momentum on his side B,
changed his dash attack to a more fluid movement, it took a little too long before,
made his down b a move that after a length of time, causes damage and a flower,
Made his nuetral B have more damage and knockback
In progress:
Changing his side B smash to more natural move,
Changing his up A air to a more unique and enslaved move
adding damage, flags and sound to his final smash
In thought process
custom poses

Thank you for all the advice, expect to see a V2 soon

Ok, weve been over this a million times now. almost everyone who turns the 3ds file into an obj and back again experiences those issues. read my earlier posts or someone else's and you'll know. the method in that tutorial barly ever works.
