So, this has been bugging me for a while. Doctor Mario's default costume is still the red costume, and I really don't want that because in team battles it also selects the red costume. How do I change it so that the default color is NOT assigned to red team and assign a different costume I wish to use for Red Team as such? Please help.
I know that there are some mods that remove the Icon names on the CSS (the one above the character's face), but I'm using the BrawlEx Clone Engine and I have a cosmetic template, so I wanted to know how I could remove them myself. It's becoming too tedious to keep making a little name for everyone when they all don't look the same (looks kinda half-assed).
If anyone can help that would be very appreciated.
This is my personal BrawlEx pack. My friends and I call it "Super Smash Bros. Brawl: ExPSA Edition".
Before you ask, no, I don't take credit for anything. I didn't wanna upload it to the Vault because I don't have a Capture Card to upload videos with AND it's messy as heck. The only thing that I say I could have done are the recolors of a certain Bleach character.
Also, before you delve into this... it's pretty hectic. All characters are insanely strong, and can interrupt attacks quite fast. This has been ExPSA Edition's formula for a long time. It's a form of balancing by making everyone over-the-top amazing. A lot of these mods are Brawl Minus mods, and the others are from people all over. Thank you, KCMM.
If you want to download, just click the link above. If you wanna comment on it, please do so. I like feedback. Especially on P:M Mewtwo.
I'm doing a little side project for some friends called Brawlee. I've been giving several PSA's a Hybrid Air Dodge implementing Brawl's Air Dodge and Melee's Air Dodge. The coding was used from an Athena PSA (The author's name eludes me) and I have been giving it to several characters. So far I have:
1) vBrawl Mario 2) vBrawl Link 3) Minus Pikachu
Of course I've been editing them so that they're MUCH better. Enhancements! Too bad I can't make any PSA's of my own.
Next on my list is the rest of the Original 12. Any ideas for PSA's I should use?
I use the BrawlEx Clone engine. I notice when I use the config utility, I can add a costume slot. When I try to add the cosmetics (The CSP, the BP, etc.) after editing Mario's Fighter00.dat (his Fighter Configuration file), the seventh costume wouldn't show. I wonder what I'm doing wrong, but I guess I'll have to start from scratch first.
What exactly do I have to do to get an extra costume to show up? If you can, please help. I want to add a costume to Kirby, as well.
Is there a Project M Mewtwo for BrawlEx that goes over Lucario? If so, can someone link me to it? That'd be nice. I'm asking because I have a Mewtwo PSA that isn't quite the best. I'd rather modify P:M's Mewtwo (even though I hate P:M)
Like in Project M; I want Samus' Bombs to explode when they touch someone. How do I do that with Samus' PSA? Also, where is the Sub Routine for them located so that I can edit their damage?
Hi, guys. I am in need of some help (once again). This time for Zelda.
Can someone help me figure out how to make Zelda transform with one of her taunts? Preferably her Down Taunt since I never use that taunt. The reason why I ask is because I have a PSA which replaces her transform into a different animation and is an attack instead of a transformation. Sheik's PSA still allows her to transform. If anyone needs the PSA's in order to dissect the situation, just ask. Thanks for helping if you do help.
Is this code editable? I want to make it so that you don't have as much momentum when you jump, because my personal BrawlEX pack has characters running at Smash 4 cutscene speeds and they just get FLUNG forward (lol). Also it reminds me of my sex kicking adventures in Melee EDIT: Turns out I figured out one step of the problem. I needed the other cheat code Momentum Capture Data, which makes the momentum normal-ish. Still cannot figure out how to make certain characters jump further when they jump. For example, Captain Falcon jumps REALLY far when he dash jumps. Doctor Mario and Link can also do this as well.
Weird thing I found out while messing with the BrawlEx Config Utility. I found character ID's for the bosses and the Fighting Alloy Team! What's up wit dat!?
I could care less about the bosses but is it possible to insert Alloys into BrawlEx? I always wondered if it was possible. They probably can't do Smash Balls or whatever unless you give them a Rel or some sort. If not, it's fine.
Hey, guys. I need help making proper photos of Ganondorf for CSP's since I wasn't provided any for his Melee Ganondorf appearance. But for some reason, Brawlbox is messing with the eye texture, and it won't show up properly (I use Brawlbox 0.73b)! This has happened on previous versions as well. I just can't seem to get the eyes to look proper like they do in-game! Is this fixable?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuizZWRa7-0 This video is crappy quality since I cannot hook up a damn capture card. You'll have to wait until I get splitter cables or something. iPhones do that to ya
I don't own any of the mods BTW. I just modified them a bit. It's just a compilation.
What's the font type for the CSS Icon Names (the ones on the clickable character icons)? I'd like to know so that my names look consistent and such. Thanks for helping me out, if you do actually decide to help!
Hey, it's me again. Using BrawlEX and stuff when suddenly I want to go to Training and Test out the Smash Ball for Samus and Zero Suit Samus. When I use a Zero Laser for Samus, the Final Smash transforms her into vBrawl Zero Suit Samus, and when Samus regains her Power Suit in ZSS form, she goes to vBrawl Samus, but the MotionEtc.pac is still working.
What's going on? Why isn't the PSA Loading, cuz that seems to be the issue at hand.
Hey guys, it's me again. This time I have a Brawlbox and PSA Issue.
I've been doing this for a while with Link; I've been replacing certain animation and attacks from several PSA's and other motion files, I know how to replace animations in Brawlbox and I copypaste things from one PSA to another (when I do this they're for the same character; Link). However, when I do this, the PSA goes up a kilobyte or two.
Am I doing something wrong? Sometimes the game freezes if I add too much to the PSA, which probably means I went over the filesize limit. Is there a way to not alter the size of the PSA too much, or is this just a side affect of copypasting the moves. If you know something that I can comprehend, that'd be nice.
