As a bonus...I decided to upload a signature for once It's a drawing of a sweet octopus drinking soda and some scuba diver in the background. Whatcha think?
lolz it's fine really. I was out of town last week actually. I'm not sure why I never mentioned I would be..
Anyways, I might release a beta, because some of the vertices need to be mixed and matched for my ideal release. The texture is 99% done. I might just change a few things around slightly.
Vertices to (hopefully) be replaced: Count Bleck's sword -> Shy Guy Metaknight's spear like weapon (pretty much a pointed rod, the closest thing to a cane) Make the hexed-out polygons from Bleck visible (feet, elbows/arms)
and I think that's it.
If I release a beta, the vertices probably won't be final. I just need to talk to some people about helping me out with them; it truly is dependent on how quick the response is/ if they can help me. (If it becomes too delayed, I'll make sure to release a beta)
Anyways, I appreciate the comments. Even PiN0yB0i ... because at least I know he's looking forward to it. =)
I noticed there are two different pictures of the stage; one has the green block on the left in midair, and the picture above it has the block already fallen down (the orange block is in midair now). Is this stage animated? ...or did you release two separate stages?
anyone else notice the "Spiral Mountain top" listed on the first page? (under "Projects") I can't wait to see how the progress is on it. That stage will be awesome
I like the concept for the button, but there needs to be more contrast from the background and text. Maybe try outlining the text with a darker color so that things look clearer. If this still proves to be difficult, maybe grayscale the pictures and have colored text
I like the bazooka assault falco thing, yet toon link has too few psas. If you're doing a radically new toon link one, go ahead, but if you were planning on simply comboing some of his moves and importing moves from other characters, don't. Simply put, do an original moveset that people will love to play with, not a cliche "redo" of the existing vBrawl character.
Rosalina uses magic to surround herself in a bubble like shield. Think of Super Mario Galaxy, when Mario falls off of the Observatory, and floats back up. She could also have that rainbow afterglow that trails Mario when he falls off. Pretty much, she puts her hands and wand out, and floats upward, Wizard of Oz style (if you remember the good witch from the beginning of the movie, when she floats down to Dorothy).
As for mobility, you should be able to move around horizontally at a slow-to-moderate speed, as she floats upwards. Think of how Snake's Up-B is.
The bubble would only look like a shield however, and she could easily be attacked when moving up. After she reaches the end of the move, she could go into the idle state already made, where she gently floats downwards with her wand (operating similar to Peach's umbrella). If the Up-B is used on a character, the beginning of the move would have a hitbox, as the bubble is formed.
That's my two cents, please comment if you like, dislike, or see potential additions onto this idea.
you should make a move, either his forward or down smash; he's in a guard stance, but starts charging up a move- he steps forward while rotating 360 degrees, and slashes forcefully downwards. Think kind of how Wolf's forward smash works- yet being closer to marth/ike with the sword movement. i guess what would work best is that he takes two steps in the release of the charged attack. Right foot forward, quickly takes his left foot from behind to twist around and step outwards with that. and then he slashes downward (or maybe sideways/ other). One neat move for a down tilt or smash, would be if he stabs the sword behind him (without looking). Maybe with the sword under his shoulder/armpit. It should be a quicker move, probably with decent knockback comparable to his other slow moves. To keep it in the slower style, there could be a lag after the move.
I have a request fitting your guidlines, off of the existing master chief vertex. Pretty much his face would be smoothed out, so the visor wouldn't protrude. I'm going to use it for some neat Star Wars textures. It should be universal enough to be used for other simple-helmeted characters, if other kc-mm members decide to use it. Anyways, here's the thread for more info.
if you decide to work on it, I'll make sure to leave a note + link. I feel sorry for others who make hacks exactly the same as someone else's, at the same time. Especially if it was only because of a lack of communication.
