yeah I already play without names on the css. I also use a file that removes all of the battle portraits. Both are quite unnecessary.

I think I was last on this thread by at page 27 or something. Anyways, I just wanted to report that using M22k's modified codes, I was able to make a cbliss build with P:M 2.5b with absolutely zero issues.

I still recommend that the list of offsets shown with their respective characters be provided on the first page. It is much easier to get this working when you take out the offsets for characters you won't use.

The background is fine. Gorey and a little Geiger.

Does it load if you choose two default colours and don't cycle at all? which characters are you using and which slots have you plugged with files?

Asf1nk, if the offset labels aren't on the first page, they should be. I can't imagine playing with the gecko os and filling in extra slots for every single character.

20  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: cBliss v1.5 [POLL] [OP Update 06/06/13] on: June 12, 2013, 02:07:10 PM
Just a courtesy note to anyone still struggling: if you simply cycle through a character with extra slots that have not been filled in yet, the game will freeze upon choosing a stage. This happens even if you do not choose any costume from that character. Therefore, if you wish to test any single extra costume on a character, that character must have every other slot filled or else you run the risk of skimming over the gap as you cycle to the one you wish to test.

It sounds like your build has no issue loading the new slots, so I can only guess that it is failing to load STGresult.

m22k are your offset labels in the same order as Asf1nk's?

for example..:

04455460 81200D34 = mario?
04455470 81200D4C = DK?
04455480 81200D64 = link?
04455490 81200D7C = samus?

---

also m22k, as your codes seem to be the most optimized for P:M, do you also have a version that retains asfink's css ordering? I originally wanted the brawl default (mario00=red team), but reordering every portrait seems a little daunting.

The first post says Dr. Mario takes up 09, so I was assuming that it is in the pack you released recently.

0x804556D0 80455448 Sonic

This can be used to turn off cBliss on characters you want.
Just replace in the All Roster has Costume Offset FIX. v2 code.
Characters are in the same order.
Only do this if you have mastered cBliss. If you don't even know what you're doing don't try please.

What's so difficult about this? doesn't one just delete the line next to the character's name?

*edit*
Oh I see now, the first half doesn't match the actual code. What is this about?

That Bowser is quite neat.

Blazingflare, do you have a .pac file for m22k's dr mario? I can't find it.
26  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Portraits, Menus, (etc...) / Re: The Official cBliss Character Recolors Project on: June 01, 2013, 07:57:56 PM
When I was going through all of the Minty, Mars, and Maritime textures, I noticed that half of them have incorrect compression on them. Which is a big no no for cBliss. I fixed the compression on them as well as other errors and reuploaded them for this pack. The final smash eyes are messed up on characters like kirby, Pikachu, etc., so I had to fix that as well.

cBliss changed the order for all of the costumes so the slot 00 is deafault and slots 01, 02, and 03 are the red, green, and blue slots respectively. This meant that characters like Link, Sonic, Mario, etc. don't use their default color as their team color. Do you understand?

mmm I see. That's disappointing, but it could still work I guess. I just hope that no scrubs get confused between a character's default and their team colour during a ffa or something.

And yikes! you should let the unified team project know about that compression thing.

Lastly, if you are unaware and/or need some textures for the pokemon, the project:M team made three (four?) new ones for Lucario, and three new ones for all of Pokemon Trainer's.

edit*

oh and they made a new marth texture too.

edit edit*

Wow libertyernie those textures are really nice!

also, I know of a good Ike texture, but this website is being too glitchy for me to find it.

Apple's download doesn't have its own url. This is a link to his page:

http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=32255&Moderated=All#ByUserID=19771&Moderated=All&Moderated=All

Also, you mentioned Link's green team costume. Does his default not work as his green team one now? or does cbliss allow for characters to have two team costumes like wario?

(I have yet to get cbliss to work yet).
28  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Portraits, Menus, (etc...) / Re: The Official cBliss Character Recolors Project on: May 30, 2013, 11:36:17 PM
I'm going to nominate Apple's Black and White R.o.b. texture.

The melee Ganon's seem like an obvious choice now that they don't have any renamed bones.

I'm kind've iffy on the unified team colours though. The default team colours may not be consistant, but they aren't random; rather they reference the character's specific series (blue bowser/white C.Falcon).

Awww yeah. That gravity suit is intense. I did the same thing with the varia suit, but I'll have to copy this.
