Zss is lookin' good so far. Hope the body portion comes out just as well, since texturing zss' body/suit is very frustrating to work with. (For me at least) Tongue

So what WAS the problem with the stage?

It's been bugging me since the start of the stage and its killing me to know what it is/was.  xD

hi mewtwo2000, i asked you about pal rel's on esh, could you please answer my queries when you get time. thanx. also, about your kongo stage, why does the ground splash when you land on it, and could you please remove the rock and those annoying leaves which make it so you cant see the top, otherwise (apart from the background wierdness, it perfect)

I was thinking about removing the middle rock but we'll see (Melee's had a small landform under the main logs). I may desaturate the log's color a bit so it doesn't look as cartoony. I will also remove the splashes in the future release along with other nit-picky changes. Barrel MIGHT(and thats stretching it) be added, if its even possible.

Anymore feedback is very appreciated. :3

I just checked it out. It does the same thing that Canon's on the blog does, loading the background sections at a time. Also, is the main platform supposed to splash when characters move and land?

Yes they were supposed to make splashes, but looking at the video, those are some huge splashes.  I'll fix that when the Beta becomes a full stage. Also Mewtwoking and FH I very much appreciate your efforts on making this work.  Angel

I was actually thinking about doing something similar to Pokefloats: Melee. But since you're trying to use the melee Pokemon, I'll do something slightly different so ours are not exactly the same.  Wink

(I would have started mine sooner but since my new computer is a Mac.....  D: )

I would love to try something like this but I have 'mai to do/finish list'

My List:
Cloud - (As an Animator)
Pikmin - (As an Animatior)
Nintendog - (As an Animator)

Maybe instead of that Weavile pokemon you can do two Pichu's (aka Plusle-Minun Tag-Team)(aka modded Pikachu's) *hint-hint*

I have a glitch to report, however reading the previous posts, im assuming you already know.

- NTSC
- Wii, the latest one. (the one before glitchy 4.0)
- i havent truely tested this one like i should have, but since i played with fox against him.
- from what ive seen, everytime he goes into his collapsed animation (ie someone hits him, he falls, hits ground, then stays there in a collapsed look..) when he tries to get back up, the game still plays music, but everyone is frozen. i assume that is a soft freeze you mentioned earlier?

-This is the 'Stand-up' Glitch, I have already fixed this and it works now.  Awesome Face

as for some input about the moveset, to me, it seems it doesnt blend well.. the smashes give him a sense that he is heavy like Ike, but for his up B and such, he feels soo much lighter as it happens really quickly.

-Wolf is considered Heavy and he has fast moves (Like side spam smash, though he does fall like a rock  Tongue )


i guess after playing him with ikes moveset for so long, it made the changes seem more apparent.
not to mention, the down b on the ground goes WAY too far, idk if this is reflectable/absorbable like a projectile, but it DEFINATELY should be, otherwize that thing is way too strong.

-I agree with the whole absorb/reflect, though we CAN nerf it's damage and knockback. But I say keep the range.

and with the exception of his side smash, everything else makes it seem like his range is very limited (with the exception of fira)

-He's a sword character after all, so yes he will be limited to some close-range fighting.

I'm usually a nice guy around here, and I don't like starting crap.

Me and Fade have been working very hard and working a lot of our time to get everything perfect and balanced for Cloud. And when we give you guys the chance to test it out, and people still complain, it makes me sad. Then angry.
