What program do you use to edit textures? I mainly use Paint. It's so easy to use, and best of all, it's free! If I'm dealing with palettes, though, I edit with Paint and then index with GIMP. Personally, I find GIMP annoying. I've never tried Photoshop. How about you? Feel free to share your opinions!

I just finished up some CSPs, and I'm trying to create them. For some reason, step2 is deleting the 'system" folder in "newfiles", and I'm suddenly getting battle portraits (which I wasn't getting before). I did nothing different when making these new CSPs; this is an out-of-the-blue issue.

I'm making CSPs, and step2 of CUPASH isn't producing any battle portraits. Every time I run step2, nothing shows up in the "portrite" folder despite the fact that I have the _small portraits in "newfiles".
