Toon Link is now done, Working on a secret character now.

Am I the only one who hears the crickets? Is this project still going, because I really hope so.

Yes, me and Junior have been pming each other and are working on Toon Link.

That was the intention of the tutorial, yes. To level everyone up.

I have to say, you're showing the most promise in this project texture-wise simply because you're willing to sit down and redo everything.

Thanks, I just try to make my textures accurate, If someone points out something, I will look at a SSB4 picture then see where i went wrong and re-do it all again. All i do is i try to get better.

Much better, that grin mouth could use work though. And the belt's line should be more round, not jagged like it is now.

The Master Sword also looks to have lost some detail, might want to add that back.

But you're on track, keep going!

Doing all of that the now, Master Sword now has more detail and shading, And the grin is smaller, curved, and more like Smash 4. Also i will get to the belt buckle after that.

Also Taiko, i really must thank you for your texturing tutorial you made, It helped make my textures miles better, Because if i never saw that i would have probably thought my old Toon Link was good.

Yes, i think so to actually, I had my 3DS beside me and noticed Classic Link's hair was not orange. but a strange shade inbetween yellow and orange. I can do that the now and also the red shirt on the red recolor.

Toon Link is done! (Maybe 2 things to change, But pratically done.)

Changes: Now has a PSA!
Eyes are bigger and mouth is smaller to look more like SSB4,
Added little pants details, hat details, etc.
Recolors!

THINGS TO CHANGE?

Red shirt to be lighter,
Classic Hair to be a different color. (Its not orange as the SSB4 CSP shows it as in game.)
ALTTP Hat to be different?

So would i put little details in PMs/Skype, But "big progress" here?

All right guys, I have decided the next character im going to do after Toon Link,

Mewtwo the Shamazing.

I know what you're thinking, It wont look like X & Y right? Well i know how to do certain stuff in BrawlBox simliar to size mods. Basically, I can make Mewtwo's head smaller, fingers longer etc.

Im pretty excited to do him, But i want to get Toon Link out of the way first, So, I have been looking at him on Smash 3DS and noticed certain details i have missed, easy to add. But i missed them, Also. To make him more accurate to Sm4sh, Im going to make his eyes and mouth smaller, I said i was going to do certain parts of his PSA (i remember posting something related to PSA) But if i struggle at anything, I'll leave it to you.

Thinking about re-doing Sonic later as well..

In regards to the recent release of Kirby, I just wanted to point out that his blush is a bit solid, it goes from colour A to colour B rather quickly. It should be a more soft, gradual shift.
As for the colouring, it might be a bit too saturated, though I'm not sure on this because of Halberd. In addition, the colours themselves are a bit off, most notably on red and green. Red's their bodies and shoes are different shades in Smash 4, vs here where they're exactly the same (or just slightly different).


And for Squirtle, what part of him is "Smash 4-like" exactly? It looks like the Brawl texture, but more saturated. If anything, he should be much more desaturated, as Smash 4's Pokemon take inspiration from the latest Pokemon games.

He has a point, When i first saw the Squirtle, I thought it didnt really look like Smash 4,

Hey guys, Im on Holiday so i have been inactive.

I have looked at details for Toon Link in SSB4. So when i get back home i will add those details.

I personally think we should have 10 costumes. It is also important to note out that Toon Link, Sonic, Ganondorf, And ROB can have 11 costumes.

My alt idea was Young Link. I know people are having a hard time understanding what i mean. But here is it basically.

Toon Link, But with vertexed hair to look like Young Link. To make his belt buckles suit the games Young Link was in. And also the Sword and Shield to be turned into the Deku or Hero 
Shield. and the Sword to be turned into the Kokiri or Razor Sword.

I also think that if we add Young Link. I know how to make ¨Special Costumes"  That alter certain things. Like Project M did with Dr.Mario and Fire Peach.

I could make Young Link have Fire Arrows, doesnt change damage though. Dont want them to think the costume is superior.

Also we could change Toon Link s down taunt to the milk drinking animation from Melee. But only for the Young Link Costume.

I hope you understand what i mean. Look at KTH´s Toon Young Link for an understanding.

I do have a Dropbox, Its just that im not comfortable as my email shows my name and age.

We're using Smash 4 CSPs. Remember, Boobsey did all that work getting them for us.  

Sweet! Do what you want with it, but I think it's done. Oh, SSBXReal, do you have a Dropbox account? I need to share the PSS4 Dropbox folder with everyone, so I need their dropbox account usernames/e-mails.

Wont it be difficult for ALTS and their CSPS?  I already have a Toon Link CSP saved, But Boobsey did go through all that trouble..
