I've nust been busy. I set the goal of a week as a motivator, and yes we' e got a lot done, but I need to finish some key things:
Balance Kakashi, Broly, and one of the new fighters. Make sound banks for three of the new fighters. And then Itman is finishing up a combo character.
The delay is worth the quality I feel we'll deliver, and I'll have a ton of time Thursday, so I belie e Thursday is the realistic release date.
After that, the next update won't be as big be ause of some Combo characters being made using non existent PSA moves and whatnot. But I'm hoping to get this one out Thursday, and in the future I'm just going to update it once every two weeks unless we complete enough things in a amaller amount of time.
I think everyone'll enjoy this update though. I've been reading all the pms and I think I have addressed most concerns. Just hang tight, people messaging me seem ancy for me to release it, but what they don't realize is that I'm just as ancy to release it I won't it to be stable and done too. I want to play it
So if I were to make a realistic guess, I'd say Thursday. Then expect some new fusions dor the next release for characters that we' e all wanted for a long time
I won't do such an early release date commitment in the future, as life doesn't always care about commitments like that. So just give me some more time you're gonna like what you play.
i feel brawly should come with his own seperate update because just too many things r wrong with him, his ledge grab is not right his model is low poly he is bigger than ridley

i think kakashis moveset should be like in the flashback saga from when he first started training kid to become genin i didnt think it was possible but it looked like he gave less of a care then when he was fighting while reading a book LOL
Idunno 'bout yhu, buddat new Poke'ball Ultra Pack got me X-cited!
Now it has me wondering how can I change the poke'ball in common3.pac so that the texture is selected randomly. Like the faces on Princess Peaches turnips, or image for every food drop. How are these items done so that their textures are random? Can someone please tell me so I can apply it to the poke'ball?
Also, is there a way to do that with more than textures? Is it possible to randomly select models as well? Because things like master ball, and ultra ball, all have either bumps or ridges on them.
I hope I posted this in the correct topic category. Let me know if I didn't and I'll fix that.

oh, ok. remember its not tested. and this doesnt contain the texture edits (it does the model though) texture no big deal, just heightens contrast here lowered saturation there but here new animations. Replace everything in your fighters/vj folder with the contents of this zipped file
Moveset? I thought you were just updating textures. What'd you change?
it wasnt the texture tht was screwy in the first place, it was the model made it look that way (not that I could do any better), however I DID find a great model of vj more accurate and such, changed the textures a bit. since this model wasn't all choppy in the first place, the moveset animations screw up (they were already screwy it was just much harder to tell with the other model because it was already messy) things were REALLY noticable with this, mode thoughl, but it looked so good i couldnt give up on it, so i finnally fixed the animations.
im going to make everyone in the roster stick out more, i think the roster background should be totally desaturate, Ill work on making the icon bg not a gradient and and giving the characters an outline, because it is so hard to see recently
Hello everyone. I just want to cut to the chase here, I'm working on a project to make "standalone" Kirby Hats where Kirby will have all the playable characters hats (as separate .pac and .pcs files) at the start of a match without having to inhale them (assuming you don't want to use their ability you copied). I will be making a separate pack soon after the release of the regular pack where the Kirby Hats will have PSA movesets based off the character hat that they have (the hats will have the characters regular B-Moves but everything else will not be a copy and paste of the original characters moveset). The release for this is unknown though since I probably wont be done until after Smash 4 releases and by that time either everyone will have moved on to Smash 4 hacking or there will still be a lot of hacks for Brawl but I think the chances of the latter happening are slim due to how fast people found out how to hack Brawl when it was released. I'm still looking for help on the project. I do hope to gain help from the A-list creators on the Vault but I think I'm aiming a bit too high. I know you've probably seen me around a lot on the Help section of the forum but I got to learn a few new things about BrawlBox while spending some time with it. If someone does happen to help me and they have a copy of 3DS Max, that would help a lot too. I need someone who has experience with merging polygons as well (BrawlBox, 3DS Max, or both). I need a team of animators as well and someone who is experienced with Project Smash Attacks (PSA) as I plan on getting this done as I plan on this to be my first creation uploaded on the Vault.

I would love to see this, it is a bit high to aim for though for ur first vault upload. but im certainly not going to stop you. I would very much like to figure out how to do this with custom characters as well, please let me know of any more updates
Okay guys, I've been gone for a while thinking about this project and decided something: No more claiming... I mean, you can still say "I'll work on X", and then work on them, and don't claim like 7 characters, what if someone else wanted to work on them? Plus I'd much rather work as a team more on things like I said a while earlier, and it's getting out of hand; I was already working on Meta Knight anyways. (Sorry SAWNIK) For opinions on Bowser, he could use some model work before doing textures. I say his scales are too orange, remember to reference Smash Wii U for textures, and you'll see it's a lot more rubbery and yellow than in Brawl. And for rim-lighters, I'm pretty sure most of us have seen your tutorial and can do it for our textures and custom models. It's a great tutorial! Boobsey ripped the CSPs for us.
that isnt psa help that is a model issue so you should ask on model help imo.
no im pretty sure its the psa, because i looked at usual viewtiful joe model, its hard to see, but sure enough, it has the same problems. its wrists are just more fat.
That could be it, but I guess we're just matching the actual colors. Maybe we'll add even more details when the Wii U version is out.
still when the wii u game comes out, someone WILL figure out how to rip the textures from the game, someone may not be able to rip the PSAs from the game. everything youve done up until know has been great, but honestly, there hasn't been much. idk if its even possible, but has anyone even tried ripping things from the .nds file?
