On that note... I really should just go through and fix it all with CSS magic one of these days. After all, I'm practically getting paid to read w3schools right now.
They are removed from that list but the report stays on. I had created that feature as check list of sorts. This way staff could 'approve' and other staff could see it, eliminating some unnecessary double checking.
I feel like whenever I change something when submitting a stage, the wifi resets to unknown. Could you make it so it doesn't do that Picano? I think a lot of people set it before they set the type of hack and it resets without them realizing.
I've defaulted it to 'unknown' and have it set to only change to 'Does not desync' in case of audio files. Anything else, it'll remain as whatever it was set as (or unknown).
there should be a feature to show only certain kinds of hacks like, you can make it so you can only see vertexes and anything that includes a vertex, or a psa, or anything that is either a psa, vertex, or both (although you could just go to the forum, but idk)
So... I might be able to implement a few *small* features tomorrow.
I know someone asked about searching based on wifi setting, I'll add that. (I won't add the based on region... anything that requires a completely new criteria is more work than it is worth (I'm still not convinced the wifi one was worth it).
As for other stuff I might add... well, I don't really know... this was never really meant to be a report-report topic... so a lot of good suggestions get burried. >.>;;
But speaking of report reports... if any of you report hunters would like to be able to manage them on your own... I might pick out a few new vault mods. (And just for reference, vault staff doesn't recieve any benefit whatsoever outside of the power. Can't even see the staff forum)
Funny how the forums have a rule for offensive material and the vault doesn't...
I find making religion based hacks a joke of really bad taste. It can really offend people.
It's like letting some guy walk around nude because he wants to. Many people would be offended by that, even though no physical harm was caused to them.
Despite the sharing the same host, database, and even forum functionality... I've always considered the Vault a separate entity to the site. (Well, at least since the days of the separate blog). It actually has its very own staff system --- vault staff are not considered kc-mm staff and likewise kc-mm staff are not automatically given vault powers.
The vault does have some rules that are different (or at least more lax) than their forum counterparts. But, as I said before, if one of the other Brawl Vault staff wants to delete it... they can.
it is actually pretty offending, and i want this to be removed too.
if you ppl don't care about Jesus. then KTH and i care about Mohamet.
I get that you're offended... but I can't understand what you were going for with this post... If you're gonna make such a comparison, both sides should have something they care about noted. Otherwise, it doesn't even give logic / incentive to comply with your wants.
If you consider it offensive, don't look at it. It's not as though it is a massively popular hack that will be featured on the top 10 or main page. The only reason I know about it is because it was posted in this topic... if you ignore it, it'll fade into obscurity.
Well, I'm not removing it. Any other staff member is free to... but I simply won't. It's not even really in bad taste; the hack itself is decent enough, the only thing going against it is the entire no-depict thing...
I just can't bring myself to censor anything simply because it goes against someone's religion. Everyone is free to believe what they want as long as they don't harm other people while doing it. (Although I'm all up for trolling the hell out of the WBC when they drop by my campus / these judgement day people)
As for searching for wifi safe... eh... I'll do it if I remember to when I have free time.
Do you think you can make it so instead of/as well as the "last edited" date there's an "uploaded" date? I'm a little anal about editing my BV entries because it resets the date it was originally posted, but since the place I host all my stuff went down, I have to edit every single one of my entries.
Eh... only problem is I don't currently have a way to check between an edit and a re-upload. The original date is stored in the database and not changed. It's just never really displayed anywhere.
