I think that you should move the specmap of Peach's jewels down a bit.

The specmap on the Wii U one is like in the center, but the Brawl one is very high up.
I really like your work though. You're only using BrawlBox, right?

Yeah, I do need to fix that now that you mention it. Thanks for pointing that out! Peach's crown uses a Ref texture for the jewels so I may just make a new one from scratch.
As to if I'm only using BrawlBox do you mean to do the texture stuff, the vertex stuff, or the shader stuff? I don't use 3dsmax so anything you see on here was either a model already on the vault or one I vertexed in BB.

Update Time!    Midna's GLOW
So with the help of a certain something already in brawl, and quite a bit of tinkering I was able to do this.
The best part is that I didn't add any objects. The model there is the exact one you can download from the vault.

omg fabulous
^This made me laugh!

That's what I think as well, but I don't know jack about facial structure so I don't know where to start. I really want to fix that before anything else.
Well I mocked this up pretty quick in BB & PS to see what might make Lucas' face look more feminine.
Perhaps a thinner face, tapered chin that protrudes a bit further, smaller ears and mouth, and larger or more round eyes maybe?(women have a larger pupil diameter than men according to certain studies).
It's a shame Pik isnt around as much anymore, he'd be the one to talk to about this.
Pik might not be here much, however, I did remember a picture of his that might prove useful for Kuma's face

Kumatora's progress is pretty slow atm, I made her head bigger to make it less weird next to Lucas, but I think I'm going to have to make her torso bigger as well.

Don't worry about the rig being redone as that was just an easy skin-wrap job, when I get the proportions right I'll rig her correctly.
This is looking really awesome! If I may make a suggestion perhaps make her face a bit more feminine. I think it looks a bit too much like a boy still.

Loving that Mario, also loved the cartoon. lol
Anyways, for Artwork Mario, there isn't much to go on since he doesn't have any detail.

I do see that my eye texture needs a little tweaking, but other than that, I don't see what else to do with the texture besides giving them lots of detail, or no detail. Since he still uses Brawl Mario's texture mapping, his textures can be replaced with ease.
I was thinking something kind of like this
Mind you I just did that last night so there are still a lot of things that need to be done. I also thought that maybe adding a spec to his shirt, shoes, hat, mustache, and pants will make him look more like the old artwork. For some reason they thought certain parts of him should be gy looking.
82  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Character Vertexes and Textures / Re: Project Acid: Official Recolor Thread on: June 27, 2015, 02:00:46 PM
You go your main thread and go all the way to the bottom just beneath the last comment of that page you'll see five options on the right. Reply, notify, add poll, send this topic, and print. Click "add poll" then put whatever you want. As to updating your main post you simply go to the first post of your thread and change the subject to say something like
"Project Acid: Official Recolor Thread - New Poll!" I hope that helped. If you get everything working then you should probably delete this thread just so people don't get this confused with your real thread.

Wait so is it not just a spec map? :O
Also I love your retextures, would you allow me to use your HD64Mario textures for a Mario edit I've been making to make Mario look more like his SM64 artwork?

Key work "making", I know that there are some things that need edits. lol
No it's not just a spec map it works a little bit differently. If you collab me you can use whatever you want, however, I'd really love to make some textures that look more like the actual artwork for you if want them. Also, oddly enough I'm working on a Mario myself based on the 80's cartoon. It's just a Brawlbox edit but I think it'll be pretty funny when it's done.

aaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Really good work here, dude-o. Jodi's outfit is a great pick for Samus.
Thanks! I made a quick mock up of the hair using PM's Justin Bailey, and I think it will work pretty well.
Also, I've been messing around in brawlbox with ZSS trying to get her to look like some artwork I found.

I'm glad to see you liked the idea of doing recolours, however, it my be better to add the poll to your main post and change your main threads subject to tell everyone you now have a poll up. It's just a suggestion, I think it would help to keep things more organized for you in the long run.

Firstly Sorry for the lack of updates PM 3.6 just came out and I've been working on a quick little secret project.

Update Time! Today I wanted to show off an old unfinished texture I had of Jody Summers. I really want to finish this one sometime because I like how it has turned out so far.
87  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: June 23, 2015, 11:11:17 AM
Kumatora's back after the original file corrupted and I lost a lot of work, including the whole torso.
I made a head but it looks kinda weird atm.

Sorry about that, I hate when stuff like that happens to me too. What? You've been working on this texture in photoshop for hours and everything has been fine... I think I'll crash for no apparent reason now! It's still looking really good though. Also, are you rigging it over Lucas, Ness, or someone else?
88  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: DSX8 stuff! SmashU Suzaku Castle Released... 06/21 on: June 21, 2015, 11:26:36 PM
You're the best! Finally I can play project m with my favorite Smash 4 stage. I highly doubt Nintendo ever thought that people would be playing on all their bright, shiny, and new stages with old brawl... So about that hadouken version I talked about earlier... I guess it's back burner for now?
89  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Character Vertexes and Textures / Re: Program's OCD Texture Workshop (Wii U Peach and Hyrule Warriors Zelda 6/19/2015) on: June 19, 2015, 06:40:20 PM
I do like the color of Nintendo's render better than the in-game color for the crown-part, though, but that's just IMO. Also, IMO, the frying pan looks weird like that and it should be all one color like the original, but silver instead of bluish.

Also, I have an idea for the tennis racket: The purple part-silver; the silver part-the same color silver; the handle-part with the brown on it-I'm not sure exactly the color that would look cool on it, but probably something like this:
I'm not sure if I can do that for the racquet since I'm trying to make this look as much as possible like the Wii U version. I did try to give the racquet some shine but it just looked dumb. I'm going to try to give it a new handle texture though, and it will probably be pretty close to the colour you have. The pan texture is based off the new design actually.

P.S. The new crown texture looks a bit better in game.

So I figured since I was working on Imp Midna today I might as well do the pair. I just started this, however, I don't think I need to tell you which is the old and which is the new.

P.S. Still working on Peach her crown needs to adjust more but here's a look ingame
90  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Character Vertexes and Textures / Re: Program's OCD Texture Workshop (Wii U Peach and Hyrule Warriors Zelda 6/15/2015) on: June 19, 2015, 05:18:44 PM
That's weird that they did that. Great job on the golf club, btw! Grin
Can't wait to see the tennis racket! Cheesy
If you have any suggestions on what to do with the tennis racquet I'll gladly listen, because I couldn't really think of anything to do with it. If the file size allows me I'll be doing this for the frying pan

Update Time! New Crown! The crown jewels are not going to be that colour I'm still adjusting those; I also might consider making the design outline a bit darker. I changed it because Nintendo's render doesn't match what it looks like in game.
