Aren't the FitMotion and FitCharacter Files the actual moveset? So if a program was written so that you can select between 3 different sets of Fit Motion and FitCharacter files located inside the character folder it would work right?

For Example:
Located in the "mario" folder in the "pf/fighter" directory, there are 3 more extended folders one is "standard mario" the second is "ice mario" and the third file being "rpg mario". There's a program built into the game where selecting a character will automatically select the first folder, however, selecting one of the icons on the side will switch to one of the other 2 folders.

Another way of possibly explaining this is in Smash4. When on custom character mode a tab pops up when selecting your custom character, once the tab is up you have the option of picking the characters standard moveset or the customized one. Though I wanted it to be a little cleaner than this(which is why I gave the you the icon reference) but this is the easiest way for me to explain it to you.

Well, I know that it's definitely possible to have single-slot movesets, and I'm pretty sure that you can have multiple icons on one portrait, since vBrawl has that for Pokemon Trainer and Zelda/Sheik. How to do it, though, I dunno. Undecided


I don't want the movesets to alternate by changing costumes, I want to be able to use any costume I want along with any moveset: Here's a rough visual guide of what I'm talking about:

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is it possible to have alternate movesets similar to how crusade has it in Crusade. What I'd like to do is have a HUD where when selecting the character, 2 or 3 icons will pop up where the character portait is( or maybe on the side or corners) and you can use the cursor to select 1 of the 3 movesets(by tapping one of the icons) before moving to the SSS. Is this possible?

Note: I am aware that some codding may be required for this and I'd also need a custom HUD

Then either you should make a new topic for people to discuss the game or you should have someone move this to the project concept page and rename it. People telling you the limitations of Brawl is helping you. If you don't know that there can only be 100(or 120 as you said, I'm not sure of this myself) then your project is already in jeopardy of drastic changes, there just telling you something they think will help. Regardless of what you decide you should have a topic for people to discuss this project in, since they cant do it here

New Update: I've got a new logo, its not the final product but I think this is what I'll be using for now, I also have a new theme song(more like a beta theme song) and FinalEmperor has agreed to help with the project starting with a new Naruto PSA based on his appearance in SSF2. He'll be starting on the animations when he's finished his next Greninja update, which is almost finished. Other than that, I've put together some more movesets and have for the most part finalized the current roster, I'm planning on having a total of 60 characters and 3 one-slot characters, its a long shot, but I've got big plans.

I will no longer be making a 1st build with filler content. I recently found a pack on the vault that was similar what I was going to do for a first build, so instead I'm gonna put together some custom PSA's and use those instead. I will continue to use filler stages until I learn to make custom one or get someone to help with them. I also plan on replacing the logo with a new one also currently in development. Its taking a long time but progress is slowly being made.

What if Nidoking's Horn Drill moved diagonally when used in the air and in return lost some of its power. It doesn't look like Nidoking has any recovery options whatsoever.

I've gotten some personal things together and I'm ready to pick this project back up. Though I'm gonna start on a first build made of mostly filler content and add build on that. If anyone has any character and/or moveset suggestions, Stages, Items, Etc... then my ears are open. I've also got icons currently in development which I'll post on the op when there finshed.. I'll continue to post my progress as often as possible!

I have a question. So if I'm cloning characters without the Clone Tool how do I make the config files? Do I just copy and paste what's in the spoilers? or is there something specific I need to do.
