1  Help & Tutorials / Help / Brawl Ex - PAL? on: May 16, 2017, 09:06:22 PM
I'm wondering if it is available for PAL users. I've downloaded pack that have folders called 'codes'. I know what it is (RSBE01), but i don't know what codes I need. So i'm just going to ask it, is it available for PAL regions to play Brawlex?
2  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / Re: "Unrestricted Pause Camera" code crashes the game on: May 16, 2017, 07:20:41 PM
So... I'm pretty stupid in this kind of things of hacking and stuff. I saw the famous "Unrestricted Pause Camera" code and put it on my RSBE01 txt file. But when i open the game, it freezes in the main menu. Anyone knows how to solve it??
Is your wii loaded through Riivolution or Gecko OS, and what region are you? If you go to system settings you will either "E" for Pal (European) regions, or "U" for US (NTSC-U) Regions. Make sure you're using the right regional code.

Codes
NTSC-U
040A7D60 4E800020
04109D88 38800001

PAL
040A9424 4E800020
0410B4E0 38800001

The codes do the same thing, but only if you add the right one. My region is PAL, so I use the PAL version. If you're using a Wii in the US, use the NTSC-U code.

Glad you got it fixed! Smiley

Though, I do apologize for not helping. Shocked
At least you tried, but the issue has been solved, and quickly I might add.
5  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: DO NOT UPGRADE to Windows 10 on: January 10, 2017, 08:49:03 PM
Although I don't know what's causing that to happen, I know it's not the computer, because the 3d model loads fine, which is the only part that would actually require anything like DirectX or that sort of thing. When the model is white like that, all that means is that either the rendering program(i.e. BrawlBox) is not showing it with the textures(Which, depending on which version of BrawlBox you're using, may or may not make the polygons invisible when you disable rendering the textures), or it means that the materials aren't referencing the right textures and/or have had those references deleted. However, my guess would be the former, based on that those look like un-edited models. I may be wrong though. So what I need from you is, the BrawlBox version that you're using, and also directly upload the files from those screenshots so that I can see if my computer also renders them like that. I also need you to screenshot your Previews again, but this time(For each character), also expand the left tab in the viewer.
Ah, I forgot to mention that these were taken from 4 different versions of Brawlbox, working from 68-71, and each screenshot from those different brawlbox versions, but all with the exact same textures missing, and these are unedited pac files (pcs shows no difference and have the same issue). These files are unedited, but funny enough all of MarioDK's files work perfectly and so does Link for some reason. When I first opened the file (FitMario00.pac) and noticed missing textures, I didn't come straight here. I tried to see if Mario was the issue, but as it turns out only some of the textures will show, be it edited or not. So it may be that the DirectX isn't compatible with Windows 10, or I have the wrong one. I have version 11 I think, and I don't know how to check.
Also as a side note, I tried all the files in the screenshot (and more) with each version of Brawlbox that I have (68 up to 71) and they all appear the same as shown.

I figured out what's wrong. I installed the Intel Express 945 graphics chipset, which wouldn't install otherwise, so I had to install an older version of the graphics driver to my pc.

In other words the problem is solved and I now know that Windows 10 wasn't the issue, so by all means everyone. Install windows 10 to you hearts content! Cheesy
6  Help & Tutorials / Help / [SOLVED] Do not upgrade to Windows 10 on: January 10, 2017, 06:58:02 PM
It might have something to do with the PC, missing drivers, wrong programs, but when I upgraded my PC from Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit (I downgraded it to professional, and did not see if it had the same issue mind you), my Brawbox experience changed. Now the program will run, and the model viewer works, It's the textures that don't. What I mean is when opening model viewer, the textures won't show for most characters, and only some will appear for others. This may be an issue I am having on my own, if you have already upgraded to Windows 10 (pro 32 bit is my version encase you were wondering), but don't have this issue, I am in great need of your assistance, and help would be deeply appreciated by me and anyone else who shares this problem. I have take four screenshots of what they look like to give you a better perspective.

Notice how Luigi's only has his overalls textures are not showing, and Ganondorf's armour is showing. It may be my OS, or it may be that Brawlbox doesn't (fully) support Windows 10.

If you have Windows 10 and brawlbox works properly for you, then please help me solve this issue. I like Windows 10 and don't want to have to downgrade back to Windows 7 unless I have to. I want to at least try to get Brawbox working for me with Windows 10.

EDIT (11/01/2017): This issue has been solved.

Try using brawl box 6.8.

It seems to be working fine, I was using the wrong PSA editor. (I don't know how to edit PSA's in brawlbox, I use Smash Attacks)
8  Super Smash Bros. 4 Hacking / Requests / Re: Super Smash Bros. Op. Brawl on: December 22, 2016, 05:37:10 PM
Since there is a Super Smash Bros. Project Melee Mod pack for SSBB I think there should be a Brawl Mod pack for SSB4 and it should be called Super Smash Bros. Operation Brawl with all of the characters from Brawl and some extra from Melee , give everyones moveset back to the Brawl version , like make Sonic's down smash his spindash attack instead of a kicking split and have the announcer calls like Brawl and add extra characters like Shadow (only certain characters who are assist trophies or NPCs or like legit characters like Goku who is a real character unlike fan characters like Shade The Echidna or Dark Sonic or Mr. L like if he is real (in he's not) and just make it better and also try to replace master core with Tabuu and also let's give mii fighters costumes tht has them dressed like all chars. In the game and yes dlc fighters for ssb4 can be in too) . I really want this because I for one think Brawl is way better then Melee and I think it deserves a mod pack remake jus like Melee has , so can this be a thing
Why add Brawl style characters when you can play Brawl instead?
9  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: How do I add combos to moves [PSA] on: December 22, 2016, 04:54:24 PM
Okay so this is complex. HA. Okay so if you open brawl box and click on links sword bone.
I think its like KenC or something like that. okay you right click the bone on the right column and a number should pop up. once you see the number you can look up decimal to hex.
or just use the windows calculator in uh.. programmer? Yeah! Okay. So you have the number, make sure its on decimal and type the number of the bone there, then click on hex and it will give you something like 23 or 2C now open up the move in PSA So then on the collision theres a little thing called bone, in the first 4 numbers you add the number into the last two. and bam

Or i can just do it.

I suppose you should do it, I couldn't follow any of that. I'm not used to adding moves like most hackers.

11  Help & Tutorials / Help / [SOLVED] Smash Attacks crashes game on: December 11, 2016, 01:59:40 PM
Can I get the latest version of Smash attacks, I'm using v1.3 and whenever I edit a file (Fitwario.pac, fitganon.pac) it causes my game to freeze. I've been trying to find out what it is that's causing it to freeze so I downloaded and opened a brand new fitganon.pac, I saved as, then tried it. It froze. So obviously it's the Smash Attacks I'm using that's causing it.

Can someone please help me solve this issue. I am trying to edit Shadow over Wario.
12  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: How can I edit speed on: December 10, 2016, 10:37:18 AM
I am working on a little project but is there an a way on smash attacks  where I can make it so when the bit is set the characcter can jump higher and speed will increase
Open Smash Attacks!, the select the fit(character).pac you want to open. go to Attributes.

Run Initial Velocity = Running speed (How fast the character will run)
Walk Maximum Velocity = Walking speed (How fast the character will walk)
Air Mobility = How fast the character can move in the air
Jump V Initial Velocity = The height the character can jump
Hop V Initial Velocity = The height the character can jump when the jump begins

That should help you.
13  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: How do I delete Vertices? on: December 10, 2016, 10:25:03 AM
You don't need it to. With his cape, you can expand the MDL0(Which is the gray box that you click on to preview the model ordinarily), expand the Objects folder, select the polygon for the cape, and right-click->Delete.(i.e. Meta Knight's cape just happens to be its own polygon, in this particular case)
I think I tried that before, but I'll try it.

You must be new lol
Tongue Yeah, I am new to hacking. I still can't edit some characters in PSA editor without it freezing. How do I change the bones/know what bones to change it to? Where are the hitboxes found, and is changing hitboxes the only way to add combos. I'm working on a few characters and I would like to know how to add combos to each move. Moves such as; dash attack, air attack and specials. Would be nice to know how to do it.
