I knew I'd find a thread like this here.

LC - Chill man, I'm starting to think you don't think any game should be competitive, tournaments make they're own rules all the time. Nothing is stopping anyone from saying items are allowed in they're tournament. But even with items i still think you would find some way to bash it.

Also you have to "Play" Melee, not make your own it to judge how the game engine of melee work. Melee has a completely different feel to the game to brawl, captain falcon alone is enough to tell the difference.

And they have a controller just for you, it called the "Classic Controller Pro"

Anyway, I was more hype about it about a year ago when i still had friends willing to play smash brothers, but now everyone is trying to do they're own thing which is a shame.

I'm still going to play, but will most likely be alone, or over wifail.

I guess people didn't really understand the project goal, but it's not really they're fault i mean even play-testers don't understand the goal sometimes. Project:M isn't about RE-balance, it's about pulling those low win characters into high win standards.

Funny thing is while they get a few complaints about RE-cloned characters from brawl players, they get TONS more complaints from Melee players about how some characters seem even better then Melee's high win characters.

Of course there are some character design issues that i disagree with, but I going to wait until after Demo2 comes out so i can test they're "Vision" before i make any complaints.

I say everyone who enjoys playing smash should give it a fair chance, though anyone who makes PSA for fun should be more then interested in Project M then just playing it, i'm sure it's has tons of code that PSA makers are going to want to explore.

And I might do a mod version of Project M for myself cause they're are a few "OverDrive" mechanics that i enjoy.
6  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / Re: Classic Exp. Pack 5.0 (stage updates) on: March 28, 2012, 01:27:07 PM
The only reason I have the online training room and the intro stage is because I want to fill those spots. They're like placeholders.

Do you have any ideas of what your going to replace them with?

Also am I still able to use this for OverDrive, i want to do 1 last release before i say i'm really done with it.

At this point I'm just going to make changes i think the game should have, and fix the problems of the last release. I'm not even going to bother with a change list this time around, since the mod itself isn't that popular anyway, hell i can't even figure out where most of the downloads are coming from.

I don't know if this has been asked, but how exactly would you change the an Article's bone anchor using the AFPE?

You currently can't do that with this program, maybe a future version will though.
11  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: Article Floating Point Editor "Update" on: January 03, 2012, 07:09:08 PM
that's not happening.....lol, i've talked about the idea before

Can You now get Mario's Fludd Article on the HeadN Bone now, instead of the HipN a lot easier now?

No, This doesn't move the article from bone to bone, only edits the current article. But that's a great idea, i'll see if Shyguy will add the feature.

Any other ideas to help improve the FPE will be welcomed.

Pretty much, this program simplifies Article editing. Before you would have had to use some type of hex editing program to do something simple like increase the size of Samus Charge Beam, or Slow down Falco's lasers. Which would had before taken a lot of digging to get your desired results, and now it can be done in a snap.

"Fixed"
15  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: Article Floating Point Editor on: January 02, 2012, 06:40:30 PM
Okay, the Update is complete, with a whole revamped design.

All Missing Found Articles have been added.

Articles have been reorganazined, and set into Tables.

Bugs from the previous version have been fixed.

.Pac files don't over write now, and instead are now saved into the "EditedFiles" folder. This way unwanted mistakes are a simple fix.

Degrees, and Radians  values have been fixed.

A newly added CustomFloatingPoints.txt : for  organizing of found information about Articles

A New "Update" Key, that uploads new articles from the OpenSA Source page.

Updated Credits/About

Data Splitter has been changed from "-" to "l"

Two short-cut keys are added for fast scrolling  to move to next/previous Offset. "w - for scrolling up" and "s - for scrolling down"
