Mercy Hospital looks great; awesome job! I also came up with a cool idea that you might be interested in, Mercy, but I think it's impossible to do. I figured you would at least be interested because you guys are planning on changing things like making a headset usable (or at least I believe I read that). It's a stage idea, though.
I may consider making a separate tut, unless there's plenty already. Anywho, I'll PM you when I can, and give ya some simple directions.
Oh man, I hope you or anyone makes a stage importing tutorial. I'd love to learn how to import anything. Those are really good previews too, Peach's Castle looks nearly perfect!
Haha, I meant animations. Animating does take a really long time; I tried it a couple lf times and I'd spend very long.periods of time on doing so. The animations also ended up really bad. I'm glad you got some work done, though.
Don't bully me to make it in 3D. I do not have the time nor effort to learn how to import models. This stage, and my other related stages, are perfectly fine as they are - in 2D.
They're not bullying you, they're just making suggestions. You know, constructive criticism. You don't have to make the stages 3D, it's all up to you. Make them how you please.
As for the Saber attack, i won't be adding it because i have no model for it. I'll have to think of something else for it. Same for Side smash, which i can't think of anything that will fit him.
Theres still some empty space on some of the attacks...
Of course I noticed this thread, it has my name in it. Hmm... For a side smash, maybe some sort of thrust of the arm, elbow, or leg? Maybe have a follow-up short range blast from the X-Buster (similar to Link's side smash)? I'm not sure, most of X's attacks are long range projectiles, you can't get much creativity out of this attack.
Wow, you're making a Megaman X PSA? Sounds awesome! Can I suggest not adding the Z-Saber as the air neutral A attack? I think not doing so would give some diversity between the X and Zero PSAs, making X more dependent on long range fighting and Zero on close range (similar to the actual games. Plus (although this is a little redundant), X obtains the Z-Saber in Megaman X6, which according to the creator of the series, Inafune, was non-canon to the rest of the series. Although, that's just a suggestion. The PSA is entirely up to you. I'm just excited that you're doing it.
Sorry haven't been much active on my thread, been busy working on SSBX. But I can show a preview of an official Super Smash Bros. X stage I'm making. Onion Ocean from Kirby's Return to Dreamland!! (This stage you see took 20min to import, this is in no way shape or form even close to the final product, like 2% max done, so keep that in mind) The goal of Super Smash Bros. X isn't to be Brawl, Melee, or 64, but something better. Current universes like Kirby, Zelda, etc are being updated with their current games, so this stage is from a current game to keep this fresh the first time you play it
Over Jungle Japes of course for swimmable water, and 4 player combat is lag free thus far. Will work more on it and customize it for Smash gameplay. Anyway, I've started Central Highway 2 days ago, and here's an early brawlbox preview of it. Well, I got hyped about it. As you guys can see it'll be based in the Maverick Hunter version and I'll be probably using the same gameplay as SSF2 I still need to take some in-game pictures of this and the Zelda stage!
